~ Hello and welcome to my forum topic Whispers of the Witches. This is a fairly new concept of mine, but I feel it can become a great story!~
New Orleans; once a city full of music, dancing, and a lively atmosphere. Although that was some 200 years ago. Now, New Orleans is run by Count Nikolay Poland, an evil man to say the least. He rules the cities witches and vampires; giving us little to no freedom at all. Witches, like myself, are not allowed to use magic under any circumstances. If we do, we are sentenced to death. Vampires are no longer allowed to feast on humans freely, they receive blood bags only. The same consequence goes for them as well.
No one can leave the city. Count Nikolay says it's to "protect us" but I don't believe it. Long generations before me, my ancestors have tried to escape, leaving it up to me to figure out a way. They left behind years of spells, potions, and journal entries. They tell me I can't trust anyone.
Nikolay is a master manipulater. He can make you do practically anything he wants. Many witches and vampires in the city are too scared to stand up to him. I don't blame them, because he shows no mercy. He is heartless.
I've been staying under the radar for a while. I draw absolutely no attention towards myself. Practicing magic is incredibly difficult, because lord knows if he catches you, you will be dead.
There will be a war soon, I can feel it. Whether I'm dead or not.
That was the plot! I am looking for a definite role for Count Nikolay Poland. There is no set amount of characters either, so let me know if you have a character for this role play! I could use vampires and witches.
I don't prefer one liners, so please be dedicated enough to write more than that! If you have any questions, please feel free to direct message me.
Side note: please keep in mind this plot is not 100% done, it is just a small summary. Anything can happen in this role play!

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
I would absolutely LOVE to do this!!! I have a witch character raven that i think would work for this!
