Capell was having great fun, until he heard Nitsua's words. "What the- crazy b(bleeep)!" He let go of Mink and Mirage, "Stay here!" He turned on his heel and darted back to Nitsua, screeching to a halt and putting his hand on her shoulder. "Easy, beautiful. You can't kill this one. It's the king's advisor, and you're in a great amount of nasty trouble if you attack him, eh?"
The advisor called for him again and Capell promptly flipped him the bird. Then he tugged on Nitsua, dragging her away if he had to. "C'mon now, gorgeous. If you wanna kill, I'm sure there's plenty of baddies around for you to torture to your dark heart's delight, eh? But to get to those baddies, we have to run. Well? Whatcha say?"

Before she had time to say anything she had been dragged off. She ran to keep up. This running without a tail thing was hard..and the familiar feeling of those extra bones that usually sprouted from her back was definitely missed. Eh, what the heck.
Mink began her swift transformation into the form she so loved, crowds be damned. By the time the thief had ordered them to wait, she was completely shifted, not really caring what the others (or throngs of people) would think. She did wonder why they were running, though.

Mirage turned to watch Capell run back, seeing the stance that Nitsua had taken. She hadn't met the female yet, and wondered who she was. But her thoughts were quickly directed at Mink, when she transformed into her true self. "Ah! Mink! What happened?!" she asked, not knowing what to think. She had no idea as to the current form being Mink's true form.
Trey had looked to Nitsua, wondering why this stranger was ready to attack someone so quickly, and almost cursed Capell for letting her do so, when the thief suddenly came back. "You are far more trouble than you are worth, thief," he said, starting to make his way toward his sister. But he stopped mid route, when he noticed Mink transforming. He had known there was something odd about her, but this was quite a surprise.

Mink gave Mirage an awkward look. Right, explanation, explanation..
"Uhh.." Her tail swished nervously. "Allow me to reintroduce myself..?" A halfhearted smile. "I'm Mink Aleyigha Dragon, and this is my....casual...wear." She fanned her wings out, perhaps to appear impressive, then folded them back. She was suddenly conscious of her surroundings and the attention she might've attracted.

Nitsua didn't appreciate being talked to as if she was a child. And she thought her deed would please them! Truly, she could not understand most things about humans - dead or not. She muttered a quick reply about her heart not being dark and about her lack of interest on torture, but let the thief drag her.
Then she saw Mink transforming into... something. Red's voice echoed in her mind. "This place is weird, and its people are weirder."

Capell sighed in relief and would come back to the others, to find that Mink was...a bit different. "Well well well. And here I thought you couldn't get any more beautiful." He smirked and winked at her, then started walking along with the others. He let go of Nitsua's hand and made sure Mirage was with them. "C'mon, before the old coot starts following us. I think this miss though gave him a bit of a scare."
Sure enough, the man was frozen stiff to his spot. Capell was very thankful.

"What exactly are we running from, Capell?" Mirage asked, following behind him. She glanced over her shoulder, and caught sight of her brother catching up with them.
"Yes, just why exactly are we running?" Trey reiterated, placing his hand on his sister's shoulder. He wasn't very thrilled on the idea of Capell trying to kidnap his sister from him, along with Mink and the other woman. "And did you really think you were going to kill someone in broad daylight?" He had said the latter statement to Nitsua, still glancing at her cautiously.

Capell chuckled and winked at Mirage. "Work." To Trey, he expanded a little on the response. "That was the king's advisor. He's the one that brings me the work that the king wants me to do." He smiled at Mirage. "It's nothing important. I don't want to be working when I can spend a few more moments with you. Since you are going to be leaving, after all, I want to be in your lovely presence as much as I can." Such a smooth talker..
"Your 'rules' are irrelevant." Nitsua was quick to coldly answer the man, who in her mind was obviously taunting her. "I know my options, and their direct and indirect consequences." Truly a pragmatist, was she not? Sure, she had a deal with the King, but her sense of honor applied mostly (if not only) to the battlefield. What are words?
"Or do you wish to take his place instead?"
Red didn't squee this time. He knew she didn't mean it. But Cas was quick to scold her for her threats.

Trey steadied his gaze upon Nitsua. Slowly, a smirk came across his face. "Is that a challenge?" he asked, somewhat intrigued by her words. "Because I would gladly take it. Don't think I take threats so lightly." He tapped the side of his leg, somewhat expectant of her answer.
Mirage hissed at him. "Don't start anything, Trey. This is hardly the time or place. Besides, I thought you wanted to leave." She glanced to Capell, wondering if he would get into trouble for running from the advisor. But she was distracted again when Trey spoke.
"What? You can have fun but I can't? I would have thought you would have jumped at any excuse to stay longer."

Capell felt he'd be much less in his lady's favor if he didn't stop her brother from getting in a fight. "Now now, you two. Everything's fine, aye? How about we all go and I'll get us some drinks? We'll have a perfectly fine time." He offered a hand to Mirage, and one to Nits as well. "Would you lovely ladies like to join me?"
A glance was given to Trey. "If you think you can go without starting a fight, I wouldn't object to your joining us."

Mink had watched the proceedings with growing disinterest, crossing her arms and yawning. Her tail swished idly behind her, large ears sagging slightly. She perked at the mention of drinks, however, and her eyes lingered on Capell as he offered his hands to the two women. A small smile.
"Oh, Capell, that's what makes things fun." Then, more to herself, "Unless fire is involved...then it's not fun.."

"This is highly unusual.", the elf would say aloud. Of course, she was talking to the spirits, but that didn't mean the others couldn't hear her.
"Don't ruin it all now, Nitty dear. Play along. What a wonderful trio of spies we are!"
Truth was, unless the drink was water, she was hardly interested. Even if being a bit dizzy helped make Red more bearable, she wished to be in peak physical form in all times. Still, she would clumsily take the hand being offered to her, and let the thief take her... wherever he was planning to take her.
"What does this man want of us?"

"What does this man want of us?"
He seemed to snap back to reality finally as he shook his head then glanced about in silence before tracking the group down again and yawned boredly.
"Why does all the exciting stuff happen when I'm not around?" he muttered.
(Yay! I am finally back. Heh.)

Capell smiled brightly and escorted the two ladies off to the nearest tavern, chuckling back at Lazaras. "Because you don't pay attention." He smirked and would seat the ladies, then sit down himself and order whatever drinks the girls wanted. "So how long are you ladies planning on staying, hm?"
He was quite content. Sure he couldn't really have the stuff himself, but having ladies around always made things more pleasant!

Mirage went with him, though she wasn't sure Trey would agree with it. She glanced back at her brother, who seemed disappointed to be denied a fight, and annoyed that his sister was being dragged off once again. He did his best to keep up through the growing crowds of people. When seated, rather quickly she thought, she looked to Capell.
"I don't drink, but thank you for the offer," she said, raising her hand slightly to decline. And when he asked how long they were staying... Well, unless her brother had changed his mind, she would be leaving as soon as this all was done. He seemed to tolerate this enough to let her stay, but how long would that last.

"Ok...I'm done with this undead-soon-to-be-dead-again man."
He then shook his head and glanced to Trey.
"My apologies for the upcoming scene of mass chaos."
He then turned and walked into the same place as Capell and the ladies did and simply stood there at the door seeming to zone out again. His massive form blocking the door entirely.

Trey raised an eyebrow to the demon's words. Undead man? What did that mean? He followed him, standing just behind his massive figure as the blocked the doorway. Apparently he was not very fond of Capell either.
Mirage looked to the looming figure in the door, and tapped Capell lightly on his arm. "I think someone is not very happy with you," she said, and noticed the stares other people were giving, as well as a few fearful looks.

Capell looked over as Mirage tapped his arm. "Hm? Oh, him. Don't worry. I'll take care of this." He smiled and winked at her, "Go ahead and order some water, if you wish." He stood and walked over to Lazaras. "Something wrong? If not, then please don't stand there and cause a scene. I'm trying to relax and enjoy myself." He took one glance around, falling unsettlingly on Trey. The kid was bad news, especially since Capell was hitting on his sister.
He chuckled at Capells words then glanced back at Trey.
"Didn't I say something about making a scene before we came in here?"
He then looked back to Capell.
"Wanna keep me from making a scene then how bout a bloody Mary. Add a bottle of hot sauce. Hottest they got in this hole in the wall joint. Big mean demon gets grumpy when he's thirsty."
His eyes then rolled to the back of his head as a sickening smirk crossed his face.
