As an anime enthusiast I like hearing about other anime people enjoy and why they like them and all that jazz. I've been watching anime since I was like, 10, and my favorite one is...don't laugh, but it's Naruto. Lot's of great characters, a decent plot, lots of friendships and different bonds...all that good stuff. I really like Durarara, too, because it's a bit of a thinker and leaves you guessing a lot.
Anyways, what about you guys? What are your favorite anime/manga?

Personally I love Naruto and Durarara!! as well, though My all time favorite remains Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo! (the entire series and most of the spin offs)
Obvious

Black butler, blue exorcist, death note, inuyasha, bleach, naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Free!, the last airbender, a lie in April, the 7 deadly sins, fairytale, Ajin: Demi-Human,

My all time favorite is Death Note. I love it so much! In fact, it's been a couple months since I watched it through... I think I'm due for another round.
I also like FMA/Brotherhood and have recently gotten into Dragon Ball Z. I'm WAY behind though, and have actually, so far, managed to see very few spoilers. I'm not even out of the boo saga yet, so I mean, I'm WAY behind.
There are a ton of other anime that I love, but those are the tops, I think. Fruits basket is also great. Love watching that one just to smile. And I was really into Maid Sama. Bummed that they didn't finish that one but I think I'm gonna get into the manga cause it was just that good.
Yuri on Ice, Inuyasha... are we counting movies? Spirited away, Totoro,
Okay... -breathes- I'm fine. =]

I've always been a fan of anime and horror, and it's kind of obvious through my tastes ^^
Death note, Black butler, Psycho pass and Higurashi are my all-time favorites, mostly because I'm a sucker for dramatic plot twists and suspense. But I also enjoy a bit of comedy from time to time, things like Space Patrol Luluco and Kill La Kill( though KLK's a bit more action oriented .3.)
Also Yuri on Ice. Definitely Yuri on Ice.

Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex are my faves.

Deathnote is an absolute classic, though; it's been ages since I've watched it.

I haven't watched Psycho pass yet, I keep hearing it's super good. I should probably watch it

I LOVE ANIME!!!
I've actually only recently gotten into it, and I have millions on my to watch list including, but not limited to; Yuri on Ice, Your Lie In April, Attack On Titan and Diabolik Lovers.
I am currently watching Owari No Seraph, which is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE right now! So. Many. Ships. It's the most adorable thing ever, so I'm binge watching it, and I think I'm on the second season?
I've previously watched Tokyo Ghoul and I ADORED IT but I was watching it over a TV channel and they've seemed to have stopped showing it, so I must pickup where I left off.
One completed anime is Another, which I absolutely loved. I cry at nothing, I have a hard shell, hut I gotta admit, even though it was only twelve episodes, I cried at the end of that. Very dark and violent, so whoever is into that, Im you'd love Another.

Your Lie in April is so sweet. My work-wife recommended it to me, and then lent it to me, and I adore classical music. I can't tell you the anticipation when a duet was mentioned and just based on their instruments I felt Camille Saint-Saens coming and she did and it was amazing! I squeed obnoxiously loud.
I'm also a fan of classics like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Vampire Hunter D (Bloodlust especially). Samurai Champloo is a feudal-modern gem, and I can binge watch GITS (Ghost In The Shell) any day, 'cept the new movie (not the live action). Psycho Pass falls under that category too, I guess. And I'm sure it goes without saying, but, the Studio Ghibli movies.
The last that I'll mention is a 3 OVA and a yaoi, but Winter Cicada. Keep the kleenex box close if you're a softie.

Disclaimer; I've only read the lastest reply to this thread, so I may be insisting on some already mentioned animes.
I personally love Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood(Not the originally released FMA, FMAB is actually based 100% on the Manga itself), Bleach(though I recommend the Manga more than the anime), Naruto is actually a good series, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Sword Art Online, Voltron (the newest released one is quite good), One Piece is a classic and it's got a great story, S-Cry-Ed, Outlaw Star, Wolf's Rain, G-Gundam was actually my favourite of the Gundam series, Code Geass, Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing, Samurai Champloo, Sailor Moon, InuYasha(though you need to actually read the manga to get the full ending and proper story line), Magic Knights Ray Earth, Psycho Pass, ZOIDS, aannnd that's about all I can think of at the moment.
