It was a holiday. I was also drunk. Sorry again. lol I will try to post at a more convenient hour. Been real busy with the kids lately, and haven't gotten around to reading anything in the IC board yet, but like I mentioned before, it's all good. Just go ahead without me. I'll catch up to you later.
I'm gonna be working monday to friday now that i'm over my cold so i will mostly be posting early in morning or evening to about 9pm eastern atlantic
I posted finally. Sorry for the delay. I was going to post a forest scene, but I fell behind, so I just skipped it and went straight into the rock quarry scene. I used improv to edit my original idea into the current scene. We should be up to date now. Thank you for your patience.
Okay ladies and gentlemen. Let's recap on what we actually have here.
As of 03-18-18:
Welcome to the Kingdom of Ash a dark country over run by corruption, it’s people left in poverty as the village dwells in the mountain shadows. It’s lords charging highest of taxes all the while palace guards pillage the towns for its limited resources beating down anyone who dares voice their opposition. At the top of these mountains sits the large castle of the king and his many sons. All brutish in nature ruling with iron fists power hungry determined to conquer anyone and everyone. Burning the world so long as they rule the ashes, recently the king has slaughtered out to other countries for their most fierce of warriors as attendants and possibly tutors for his one daughter in hopes to harden her soft nature. Or will this new servant help crown the rose in this mountain of ashes and save the people? Play to find out.

So I was thinking desert zombie people, but they have to collect blood in order to keep themselves strong, so they take captives from villages that they raid, use a few hundred to use the blood to make a special mojo that energizes the Zar'jak peoples. This blood magic mixture hardens the blood and liquids in the body's, making them appear sunken and dried. Without using alteration methods, they could be mistaken for a dark skin'd human corpse. They are incredibly weak in sword fighting, but they are incredible fast and quiet, they often become bookkeepers and or assassins. The Zar'jak were weak boned, they are often referred to as Bonemen. They are able to die, however it takes only a bit of their special mojo to revitalize them, but it takes them a while to energize, nearly two or three days before they return to life.
The Zar'jak King, Tolus the 2nd, a supporter for King Magnus' rampage through the other provinces, and often supplies him with slave labor, materials, weapons, and even trading some information. His armies specialized in covert missions, and usually objectives that required stealth and precision.
Haha this is what I was thinking for the desert zombie people, feel free to tear at the idea, and make changes and suggestions. Ha I just love building on story lines and building its own history.

You will be happy to know that I have just created the first graphic/visual map. But its not on the internet yet and I'm not sure how to upload images on this site yet. If anyone can help me upload it, the map is ready to be viewed. The same map can be used IC or OOC for RP purposes.
Here is a temporary photobox view of the current map as of right now:

To upload a photo, you first find the photo that you want. Then you right click on it and click on open in new tab. You copy the address of your picture.
Then back to RPR with the line of text. When you write a post, there's that line above the writable area. On that line is a little picture of a tree. Click on that, the paste the url into it.
And that's how you post pictures on RpR. hope I were any help.
Edit: the picture needs to already be on the internet, may I recommend uploading it to devianart, the do the process that I wrote above.

The picture doesn't show up, and the link won't work.
Anyone have an idea for a monster?
Nope, not me. xD

Welp, I like eating sweet candies when I get my hands on them, and I fear dark rooms :p
That's all I can mention as I'm typing this, because my mind went brain dead.
My brain just made up a folk creature. It likes sweets, and will only take candies while it's dark. Like in putting out a bowl of milk for a house elf, a village puts out candy every night to ensure that it stays. Why they are doing this is because this creature grants wealth to those who puts out candy for it. If it's seen by anyone, it will leave, never to return.
Skip... you're killing the OOC thread with your constant talk about creating monsters bro. :p
Try to remember that the IC story is focused more around the plot, rather than the characters themselves. That was kind of the whole point of what the Book of Beasts document was for, to help organize those ideas and assist in keeping the OOC thread open to new players who may wish to join, or for resolving any confusions we might have IC, for those types of things.
Not trying to be mean. I like your IC posts. It's just that I've asked everyone already a few times now to try to keep it organized. We're still trying to recruit new players.

Just to elaborate, RayneLillac is the game master (GM) of this RPG storyboard. I am just helping her to keep the channel flowing while she is busy. All new characters must be approved by Rayne before they can join, so you'll have to wait for her I'm afraid. Looks like an interesting character though.
The only reason I were asking for ideas for monsters, is because, and I'm not proud of saying this, but my idea bucket is kinda empty.
Know what? I will a look at pinterest and deviantart, catching some inspiration.
