The hold of Falkreath is covered in a dense, tranquil forest, seemingly plagued by ill weather, and home to hidden dangers that have surprised many unsuspecting travelers. And during a recent gameplay, I had found numerous rouge mages/necromancers wandering about and none were friendly. Perhaps we could create a rough outline around them?

I apologize if that was no help at all. I'm still new to this. Miss also had some suggestions, so we might be able to use on of those?

Perhaps what Olthain is suggesting we have is a story arc.

Band of misfits and goody-two-shoes alike get caught by Imperial patrols.
Imperial patrols ship them to small, out of the way village to be executed.
Dragon, bandits, necromancers, enemy army, rogue dancing livestock, and/or giant shepherds out of nowhere attacks village.
Band of misfits and goody-two-shoes escape in the chaos.
Band of misfits and goody-two-shoes are then summoned to defeat dragon, bandits (all of them!), necromancers, enemy army, rogue dancing livestock, and/or giant shepherds by big, booming voice in the sky.
Band of misfits and goody-two-shoes saves the day and enjoy several gallons of ale in a local tavern.

Or something like that.

Or,

we could simply evolve a setting around the dragonborn's (possible) failure. What if he failed to defeat Alduin in Sovngarde? What of the black dragon came back to Skyrim, throwing the body of the Dragonborn at the feet of the Greybeards?

Then those greybeards better find some new dragonborns, and quickly! Perhaps the first dragonborn wasn't the only one (hint hint, expensive new DLC), and a few soldiers run about the place, trying to locate the others that can use the mighty dragon shouts.

And since maybe they can't find any, our little group make an attempt upon the dragon

A party of four versus the World Eater. Yes, I can this happening. I can't say that it will end well, but it will certainly be fun to roleplay!

I agree, Miss. Bad things might happen to our little group, but it should be fun and interesting to write for!

So it is set! Anyone who preferes to write the intro?

I would say no, unless others want their characters to be known to one another. There are two Khajiits, one Breton, and one Nord, so far. It's unlikely that anyone but the two Khajiits would know one another. And from the difference of their alignments, tis' unlikely that even they would know of each other.

So is that a big no? Can we all just be in agreement on this right now?
