Tamara wandered the streets of downtown, ripped jeans and a yellow long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up. She weaved between the people who passed her and suddenly stopped in front of a television shop window that had the TVs turned to the news. "Another victim was killed last night in Downtown park. This victim's body had been torn to shreds and scattered about the park. Police believe that the killer was human, male--" Tamara turned from the store window and kept walking as she muttered to herself "Bullshit."
The city already knew what the killer was and it certainly wasn't human. Beasts, Monsters, Savages whatever citizens call them they all still fall under the same category. Everyone knew 'mythological' beings existed and but set up a false sense of security by telling themselves they weren't real. Tamara sighed as she continued walking and just so happened by the park. Crime scene tape was blocking off the perimeter of it, preventing anyone from going in. Police seemed to be searching for evidence. She turned not wanting to stick around such a scene and made her way down the street once more.
Her eyes narrowed at the weird feeling she had suddenly gotten. She quickly glanced over her shoulder with her icy eyes to see several men following her. They reeked of wolf scent to her as they seemed to not be bothering to hide it. She must've wandered into pack territory by accident and they'd sniffed her out. First alley she saw she was off in a sprint, hopping over dumpsters before she was coming close to a dead end she turned the only way she could, toward a street up ahead. Tamara heard them snarling and growling after her as they ran after her. She ran out into the middle of the street, hoping she wouldn't get hit but there were no guarantees.

Five shots, five cries of pain, five dead wolf men. The saint red glow comin from the lenses of Doc's gas mask got brighter as he stepped towards Tamara, walking through the street as if the car didn't exist and he let his gun fall to his side on its sling and he grabbed her arm.
"It seems you vere being followed."
"It seems you vere being followed."
Tamara skid to a stop as the other man grabbed her arm after, hearing the gunshots. She didn't turn around for a moment when she now heard a man talking to her. Catching her breath she turned slowly still on high alert, now seeing the bodies on the sidewalk. "Yes but, are you mad?! You just shot them out in public! Now the police AND the pack will be after You and I!" she said hastily. She almost hissed out the words from her mouth, trying to keep the words quiet as people ran from the scene in fear. Tamara flinched, blue eyes glowing slightly. She heard sirens not far away. They were still near the park... and the crime scene from the other night. That place was swarming with police when she passed it! "Oh no." she pulled a bit on his grip. "Run!"
"Am I mad? Vhy yes. Insane actually," Doc laughed loudly and resisted for a moment when he was pulled on but finally complied, the red light from his gas mask lenses faintly illuminating the ground in front of them. He held Keera, his pet fox tightly as he ran.
She was off in a dash once again at a great speed. Racing ahead of Doc she saw a large storm drain. Looking back down the alley to make sure no one was following them. No one seemed to catch onto their trail yet, which was a good thing. Stopping, she reached out and yanked the cover off the storm drain. The drain looked like a large slide, slightly damp but descended into darkness. "Go quickly. The drains are quicker then the alleys." That and they could get far away unnoticed.
"Ha, I am not worried about being noticed," Doc said and then jumped down, not bothering with the ladder.
His lenses illuminated the area with an eerie red glow as he looked around, examine his surroundings.

Tamara went down a couple steps on the ladder, pulling the drain cover back into place before leaping down, landing near Doc with splash of water. She stood up straight, eyes lighting up as they adjusted to the change in lighting. The girl also examined the surroundings. The drain was fairly large, a rather thin puddle of water covering the ground. It was dark, very dark. There seemed to be an intersection of the drains up ahead. She could hear the faint sounds of cops searching up above and began to jog over to the intersecting drains. Looking to her left she motioned for Doc to follow. As soon as he'd follow she'd start to run and lead again.
He shrugged and followed her, if only because he had nothing better to do. He seemed to be walking at the same speed she was running almost.
"For he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow that nobody can deny," Doc sang loudly as the moved through the sewers, still cradling Keera.

Tamara gave Doc a weird look. "May I ask why you're singing?" It's not that the singing didn't bug her or that the police could hear them from down this far down. She looked to the fox he held and quirked her brow. What an odd pet for someone to have. she thought to herself but then again she just didn't really think of a fox as a pet.
"Because I can," Doc shrugged and started a chorus of "White Christmas" that was interjected by phrases from "Singin in the Rain," as well. his thick German accent not helping much with his already deep, intimidating voice and id it wasn't so intimidating of a voice, it would be hilarious to listen to.
Tamara blinked then went back to looking ahead of her towards the drains. There seemed to be light up ahead coming from a tunnel on the left. She turned the corner and just down the drain was a large grate leading under a large bridge. There seemed to be a fair amount of shore in the channel which was good enough. The girl approached the grate looking it over before attempting to kick it down several times, leaving several large dents in the grate.
"You are weak girl," Doc rolled his eyes behind the thick red lenses on his mask. He didn't even bother to kick but brought his fist back and slammed it into the grate, sending it flying into the channel with such force that it skipped once before sinking.
"Zat is how you Get rid of a barrier."
"Zat is how you Get rid of a barrier."
Tamara's jaw dropped slightly at such force Doc displayed. She was at a loss for words at the given moment. Clearing her throat, she had ignored his comment about her being weak seeing as it seemed to be proven. She blinked, a question crossing her mind. The girl stepped in front of him looking into his lenses. "Wait one moment... Are you human? B-because I assumed that you were but you...." Tamara was again at a loss for words.
"Of course I'm human. Being part of a nuclear holocaust has its ups and downs," he replied and stepped out, "Obe of zem being positively mutated muscles."
She simply stared at him a moment in slight disbelief. Blinking she questioned. "Nuclear holocaust?" she seemed confused, uneducated about much history as a matter of fact. Although she most likely never learned a lot of history because he parents didn't believe it was important.
"Yes, Germany approximately ten years ago," Doc nodded, "Zee new Reich made war Vith Russia. Not a good idea."
Tamara tilted her head unsure what to say to that. She seemed to perk up a moment looking back into the drains. A weird tingling sensation ran up her back when she heard a couple splashes. "We should probably get to a safe house." The girl turned and looked down the shore to see some steps leading up to a street. Ah yes she knew this area. There was an abandoned construction site not far from there that was pleasantly safe. "Come on." she motion as she walked fast down the shore towards the steps. She didn't run as she didn't want to attract attention.
Doc merely shrugged and followed quietly, the light from his lenses glowing against Tamara's back. Keera whimpered slightly in his arms and curled into a tighter ball.
They would be walking along for a little while until the abandoned construction site came into view. There were signs up around it saying it was to be demolished but it seemed that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Going through a side street beside the site, Tamara found the gate and yanked it open, before walking inside. Stepping in between the large pillars she looked around to see a pile of rubble leading to the third floor. Climbing up with no problem she sighed. There was a barrel filed with burnt wood, a couple of old dusty couches and a backpack. "Welcome to my safe house. We can stay here a bit until things calm down a bit. Tamara couldn't risk going back to her apartment with the pack and the police around. The pack would be dying for revenge and the police would want heads on a plate. "Make yourself comfortable. I'll see if I can find some wood."
Doc seemed to have made it up before even Tamara did and he set Keera on the couch, red light falling on everything he examined. He stretched and took off his beaked gas mask, his back still to Tamara.
