As simple as the title asks, how did you find rpr?
I were searching for a site to rp on, then stumbled upon this.

Kim sent me a message and asked if I wanted to help test her new site!
Furcadia went through a series of 'websites' that was popular for character profiles -- first it was description-based, then it turned into freewebs.com -- sometimes angelfire or wix, and then RPR became the 'new thing' and so I stayed with the trends and fell in love.
Through Furcadia, I wanted to make a character profile and then started taking a look around the site itself whenever someone told me they also roleplayed on RPR.
I still enjoy active play on Furc around twice a week but most of my roleplay is on RPR now.

I was on another RP site where the name escapes me but Claine, Copper Dragon and Seraphicstar were on there and recommended RPR for me. I came here and never went back.
I looked up "RP pet peeves" I think and found an old thread that was interesting. So I decided to join the site because the community seemed nice and I liked the look of it.
I joined because my friends recommended this website so I had decided to check it out and it was the best decision in my life because now I can express myself through my characters without judgement as much.
I found RPR, by looking for sites to RP on while I couldn't access Facebook at school, since a majority of my roleplaying happens there, on FB anyway.
Through a roleplayer friend of mine on Tumblr.
I went through like a dozen RP sites just off Google, searching for somewhere to get back into roleplaying. This one really stuck out to me, and I certainly haven't regretted joining.
There was a relatively large site I was on that was shutting down and so everyone went on a hunt to find a new home for our roleplays and the majority of us crawled in as the doors were shutting on that site.
Rpr has proven to be far more superior to what the other site was trying to be and I'm actually glad it shut down. The community basis wasn't great there and the leadership of the owner was pretty bad due to the demands running a site has. It had a good intention behind it and it worked for what it was, but I feel like it really made my move here really easy when it shut down.
I come from places like Tumblr, Facebook, MySpace, Skype, and all kinds of chat systems like Yahoo, aim, msn, and an old site that was Otaku something. RPR meets all the actual needs of what I love in roleplay.

I googled "rp writing sites" and RPR was the sixth one down and the words:
Build free, customizable websites for all your RP characters and find new friends to play with.
Caught my eyes and I've been here since. 😃😃

My memory is the absolute worse, but I THINK I ended up passing a character's profile? I want to say it was actually someone who had stolen art from an artist I watched elsewhere (it was dealt with and I've always been a "one person doesn't represent the whole" type of person for the most part), and I saw the "Build free pages for your characters!" thing at the bottom and went "huh"
I saw it once or twice more and then went "Yeah, sure, why not" and tried it out.
Been here ever since and haven't regretted a second of it. Easily the best site I've put myself into, I've never felt such a sense of community as I do here, and I stick to myself most of the time lol.

The site I went on was going downhill pretty fast. I had been on there for a few years and watched the number of role plays and the people even willing to do role plays drop rapidly. It became more of an art site than a role playing site. I went on the search of a new one and eventually found RPR which I, obviously, joined. I can't say I've really gotten many role plays, but it is a nice site. Better than my previous one even if you do have limited characters.
I was drifting after my old forum shut down. Someone on Charahub mentioned this was a good site. So, here I am.

((Could you give my the name of that webside? Maybe I could score me some character art if it's still online))
Heh ha hah! Well my lover of going on nine years introduced me to the site...he knew I enjoyed role-playing. At first I was confused but eventually I figured it out.
I migrated when RPG went down. By migrated I mean I made an account and forgot about RPing.
