"well, in human i'm about... um... 12....."

"In human years, I'm older than you.... But in DRAGON years, YOU'RE older than ME!" Cheri giggles.

"haha, yea..."

"So... Can you tell me about your past?"

"well, i came from a nest of twenty-three. and i was the youngest. so that didn't turn out that well...."

"MmHmm...."

"i was taken care of as well as a single mother to twenty-three could, don't get me wrong, but i got last pick of absolutely everything. again, would be fine, if there was, say, two others. but when the twenty-two best parts of something only you care about are taken before you even get to look, it gets.... tiring."

"Oh...."

"but at around eight i had to leave the nest. dragon methods aren't the most...... nurturing, to say the least."

"Uh-huh?"

"then, i got taken in by earth dragons for a bit, which were kinder, but two years later they had to go underground to hibernate, then i got lost and couldn't find them again."

"Oh.... I see...."

"then i stayed alone for a year, then i got tied to that stupid rock for 7 months, and here we are."
