I thought I'd seen this before, and maybe just didn't search for the right term to bring it up... but eh, repeat topics happen all the time.
So yeah, tell us about your avatar.
Mine's Hobbes, from Calvin and Hobbes. It's not that I'm a big fan or anything. I just agree with the sentiment being expressed. Fun > Cool. ^^
I'd originally intended to have something more pretty, but all I had felt kinda pretentious and overused. I've almost changed it a few times, but... can't quite bring myself to. It no longer feels right to have anything but Hobbes there. It feels like I will have somehow lost a part of myself if I change it.
Why, yes, I do tend to overthink things. Ɑ:

An uncomfortable close up of Jontron's face.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

Gaze into my eyes
Mine's the Prismatic Dragon from D&D 3.0's Epic Level Handbook. It's the highest CR monster of 3.0 (67, I believe?) Also, it's a big rainbow colored dragon that sits on the Astral Plane all day. I thought it was funny.
Mine is Pusheen the cat, dressed up as Nutella!

Pusheen is love.

A drawing of a selfie.
I was really feeling myself when I took the selfie; So much so that I took two-ish hours out of my day to draw it because wow I'm conceited lmao

It's Hades from a manga series with a flower crown over his head. I felt the character itself was close, really perfect, for my physical persona/physical appearance. I'm not too far off from how he appears, but I loved adding the flower crown for a sense of funny.
a mildly snide and mildly this guy
grandma. i feel like it's pretty encapsulating of my personality, also i love sassy 50s clipart

Sora from Kingdom Hearts!
Mine is Fluttershy from My Little Pony. She's just so dang cute and I feel she fits my personality. 💕
Death from the Horrible Histories Television Show.
I chose my picture of either one of these reasons.
option 1: A while back I wanted to write a scifi book, eventually dropped it, but that's not the important part. The important part were the protaganist, Dan Fengel, a name few may know on this site since it were later changed to Dan Burrow. But in my story Dan were an immortal cyborg skeleton, the last piece of humanity, because he were the one who ended it. So I were searching for like refrences and pictures that I could get a feel from, as I searched "Cyborg skeleton", I added multiple different pictures and images to my gallery of Dan. So time changes, I create a profile on this website, needs to choose a picture, the first thing that pops into my mind is that, and here we are.
Option 2: It looked cool, plus skeletons are badass.

An NPC character named Lady Kazandra from the Ravenloft D&D 3.0 setting. I'm a great fan of the artists, Talon Dunning, work and I love Ravenloft. My username also incorporates part of that setting but that's for a different thread .
This is actually a picture I drew ages ago of one of my WoW characters. My night elf rogue named Erinare. She was an ex member of the Darkmoon Circus and liked to effect bizarre accents and invent strange contraptions to make life "easier" for people. I don't think she ever got above level 20 but she still has a soft spot in my heart and its one of the few pieces I drew (way back in the days when I still drew on a regular basis) that would show up clearly in such a small square.
