Hi Guys,

No, this isn't a topic about dressing up and dating preparation, it's an encouraging (or I wish it'll be!) thread about doing some physical preparation, I honestly think "working-out" it's too big of a term for the pace I have in mind.

It's more about warming up, day to day, stretching here and that, and progressively do something if we want to, and to share you days to days activities in the field, to encourage each other!


I feel it's kind of bore to actually started something like this alone, I now I'm not excited or happily jumping around because I'll do it, I like sports, okay (at least, I used to, and I didn't have anything against some physical movement in an soft and aiming at feeling nice and mobile in your own body), I'm not aiming or starting to aim to being ripped, nor being the next hit on bodybuilding channel, and I thought maybe some of us will be interested by it too, and even the only thought of someone doing it like you're doing it somewhere around your corner of room or else, it's quite motivating to me! :)

Hoping to find a "working-out" partner and feel motivational with someone? We can be all here! Just leave a comment and let's meet! (Well, hopefully might be a real meeting for some of you, but I was talking even meeting over the room-network!) Can't going to a sport room? Don't like it? Broke or too budget-strict and can't afford it? Get a feeling of companionship over here! :)

I'm doing this in good faith, if anyone is interested enough, we can even think about exchanging results, or else, later in the time!

Need some companionship and support when in the idea when you want to start dieting and working-out? Let's share progress, recipes and results together! :)

I underline, this isn't a thread for only dieting!

Well, to keep up progresses :

Been lifting small handfuls of molded round weights of 5 LM I think in each hands, and just "wiggled" around, in "style" xD To feel the muscles and stretch. It felt nice, like rehabilitating my body after a long time.

Long way to go, if I ever happens to get back in shape after what had been happening to me health-speaking after all theses years.

Welp, not physically undamaged too.

Good on you, I wish you the best. :) You might have more luck striking up a conversation about keeping fit in the OOC chat when it's active (or perhaps the unofficial RPR discord channel? I can find the link to that if you want.) It's also possible that your title isn't clear enough to draw people in, or that the people who click aren't really comfy sharing too many details about their physical condition. Either way, I assure you it's nothing personal against you.

Myself, I'm planning to go for lots more walks now that the spring weather is... hopefully on its way! Trying to eat more soups and cereals and less pizza and ice cream, too. That might be the real struggle. :P

Hey Rat! :)

If you're struggle is about food, in know some special tricks to help lessen sugar comsumption, it's not sugar replacement, it's sugar reduction : there is an herbal oil extract (cinnamon) than made from (hey, cinnamon. You guessed it.) lower sugar in blood and (unfortunately I'm half-way allergic to cnnamon, I don't react much, but I do, but it worked anyway, not sure if it worked as strong as those who aren't allergic at all.) makes your sugar-drive-impulse lessen, you just don't crave it as much as before.

You're be glad to go look in there if you will be interested into that.

Plus, people can join here anonymously, I do not care.

Well, been resting for almost 24Hours now, I can still feel I exercised yesterday.

I'll get another try, just to test out how much I recuperated. I couldn't do anymore exercise this day, I felt I used my energy, if I was going more, I would have the negative effects. ;)

Well, verdit ; I still won't working-out today, seems I need more than a day to recover.

Thirst and Food-wanting had increased today, should be on his way to work everything out!

I'll bite. I've been trying to fix my sleep schedule and sleep more. It's been somewhat successful, but I'm still missing my target of six hours a night at least.

Also planning on picking up The Walk and Zombies, Run! Again. :D

Small update, been crafting a jumping rope (I couldn't get my hands on my older one. XD) and finally managed to get my old jumping rope back, again....
Haha, I'm terrible, I should rather laugh. xD

Wasn't too much of a big deal, though, so it's good.

I almost recuperated fully of my precedent upper body work-out (light work out, but still!) I can't believe I almost need to take 4 days+ nights rest to get back at the point where I'm right now... I believe I'll have to undergo a full week of recuperation, I'm completely...unpleasantly suprised. Not really shocked, but still shocked somehow. Could see it coming but not that big.

If anyone here apart would like to get back to his former health or have a new goal of getting a hold on himself, just let us know, if you would like here, or just straight jump in to me! ;)

Today work out done, Been doing a good "solid" rope work-out for me. I actually worked out until I felt it wouldn't be safe and wise and good and all to go past my physical feelings of limits.

My knees are pretty weaks, and as are my whole coordination and articulations.

My muscle reaction might be the least weak stuff, but it's still weak. Lol.

Been working out the upper torso as well, I heard my vertebrae cracking from the lack of movment, lol.

Been doing jump rope naked feet, it was good.

Perfect for tonight! ;)

As far as "getting fit" topic goes, I don't work out, although I do consider starting to attend a gym nearby.
As for the sleep patterns - it is disrupted and there's no way around it with my work schedule - I work in shifts.

Hallo.

I did gymnastics and worked with horses when I was younger, and was fairly active until I hit my early 20s. Weight just kinda creeps up sometimes, and you don't realize it until you go to put a pair of jeans on and its some sudden realization.

So anyhow I lost about 60lbs, I got super ripped, was working out five-six days a week, running every day (I lived in the city with a husky), lifting, yoga. Right now I don't work out and I could stand to lose about 10lbs. But anyhow, that's my story. Once you get into the swing of things you'll pick it right up. Just go slow at first or you'll burn yourself out. Resting is imperative... two or three days rest in between workouts when you're first starting is definitely ok. People who stayed active (at any point in their life!) tend to cut weight faster than someone who has not, results always vary.

Another thing to keep in mind is form -- its hard to get right especially if you have poor posture (like I do; it's abismal!). Depending on your current weight, some exercises are not recommended.

I have a yoga mat and home, and I have something called a hyperextension bench Amazon link. These things are ammaazzziinngngnng for your core and build strength in your back. You might see roman benches recommended -- they're ok, but geared towards muscle stamina, not strength.

And really between push-ups, squats, bicycle kicks, and core exercises, you don't even need a gym. Good form and diet are the keys to getting in shape.

I'm not on RPR a lot but keep at it, don't worry about falling off the wagon, it happens to everyone. Give yourself a few days and jump back on it.

Pollens. I got medecine for it. If it's was just my skin it would be alright, problem is breathing, headaches, and so on.

I have some equipement to prevent the disgrements, but still.

This inhibiting my training back into shape.

And still recuperating from my "sunburn". And we're only at spring beginning, come on. XD

Training should be back in a day or two.
