Moshi moshi~! _overlyenthusiasticgreeting__by_ledmaiden-d34whm8.gif

So, as the title states... Which of your OC's is your absolute favorite out of all of them? And for what reasons are they your favorite?
A simple topic, yet I feel it's a good conversation starter.

For me, I'd have to say adult Yuko, as she was the very first OC I ever made, and I feel connected to her on a personal level, somewhat. Her personality is highly reflective of my own (save for a select few things), and I just think she's absolutely beautiful. (Even if I do say so myself.)
Asami, hands down.
I love all my creations, but Asami was in development since 2006. I've been hard at work making her the best yet~ Even now, she is constantly evolving.
Plus, she's cute and actively going to save Yuko~

Hands down, Achilles is my favorite. I have a lot invested in him. He's superme...lol...if I could be him, I would! I have so many characters that aren't on the rpr and still, Achilles remains my favorite. He connects me to a reality I think humanity once took hold of before mankind polluted the earth and ourselves....😏😏😏
Well it's sorta hard to choose a favorite, because they are great in each of their own way. But I have four who are the best. I will list them in chronological order.

Dan Burrow: Because he were the first OC that I created, plus he is kind of a jack or many trades. Because of his random personality he can fit into many roles. His concept were fourth wall breakage and first character in my pantheon of well made characters.

Lucifer Errat: This gentle and friendly man were created as an extension of Dan, but later became his own character. The basic concept of him were an alchemist with an ability to basically pull potions out of his butt.

Hector Bossuet: He's a sorta main man. He were created when I wanted to add illusionary powers to the repitoirs of either Lucifer or Dan, but then settled with creating a whole new character. Then in the first Rp he were in, I gave him the ability to generate and manipulate smoke, which later were broaden to all gasses.

Mister Green. His concept and design were affected by the real world. I saw this ad and thought "This design could maybe with a little help, work as a character". His six personalities were shaped by the six types of gamblers. He is not a demon nor an angel, nor a god, but his power is almost strong enough to bring down one. I couldn't find a name for his species, so I went with spirit.. His concept were a personification of gambling and chance.
Probably my character Uriel. I built him as a challenge.

A huge portion of my RP experience actually comes from public realms on a different site that were based off of Laurel K Hamilton's Anitaverse. I always played humans, or various lycanthrope strains. I even played a Fae once. At the time I designed Uriel, I was a big fan of characters that could hold their own in knock down drag out fights.

When I designed Uriel, it was the day I broke the mold. I had never played a vampire in my life, nor had I ever played someone so sexual either. Uriel went against all of my norms, and was the hardest character I had ever played. Now, a few years later, and he is the one character I can always find in my head. On top of that, those that I play off of using him always seem to love him. In that public realm, he was my most popular character, and one of the most popular in the realm.

Uriel was also the start of my evolution as a roleplayer too. If I could play a character like him, I learned that I was capable of playing a much wider variety of characters all around.
RedLantern

I like Ivy cause she's my most devellopped one in general but others it dépends on m'y current mood, right now,my
haunt

i say i don't pick favorites but tbh i'm a liar i do and i've grown really attached to avery over the past year or so of developing him. there's a few personal reasons why he's my favorite, but other than those, he's just fun to write because i like how he thinks about things and his weird sense of humor. it was also fun to develop the whole corpse thing he has going on and trying to figure out how that would affect someone's life. also, through writing him i've developed an appreciation for floral print clothing lmao.
Depends on my mood. I rather enjoy rping Esk, because he's such a jerk but so painfully and cripplingly honest. I enjoy his hyper perception and his nasty streak, he allows me to write some quite entertaining interactions.

I also have a soft spot for Jarral because we've been through so much, and I like my antisocial weirdo.
Even if he is a bit difficult to force to interact.

Most of my characters I like for various reasons, even the horrible ones, and they serve useful purposes. Matt's optimism, Kay's guilt complex and ego (lol) and scolding of people, Armin's hyper politeness and general alienness. Asher's enthusiasm and intensity, Mitchell's no nonsense attitude, Eddie's nonsense hahah.
I have SO many characters and the majority of them i've enjoyed playing.

a few i struggle more with because I never developed them as much. I need to fix that.
Kuroba, man.

He broke so many of my previous morals of an RP. I wasn't a cold-blooded sociopath, nor was I out to see the world burn.

Now, all of my evil plotting comes down to Kuroba, and I just love it.
That's hard to say. I have a soft spot for many of my characters though, admittedly, some more than others. The majority of my characters aren't on this site either. But Obsidian would probably be my favorite. He was my first character that I really took a lot of time to create and he's still changing. Most of my past characters have been rather heavily based on something usually from a book, movie, show, etc. Obsidian is also very easy for me to role play since he's so weird. I can do basically whatever I want with him and it fits because that's just that way he is. And there's no concern of him being too powerful or anything like that since he's more likely to lose a fight or fail at whatever it is he's trying to do anyway. Poor guy. He also resembles myself in more ways that one though I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

There are other characters who are special to me though. Daemon, Tavor, Jayvion, and Myron are a few and I'm constantly coming up with new characters to get attached to.
I really couldn't pick from all of them. But if I did have too, then I would pick myself, Antero Perez.
This is because I can mold and shape to fit any situation or plot, without having to make anymore characters. And as playing as me, I have more control of what I can do, since I don't need to develop how I act to things. I think, honestly everyone here should have an OC who is or resembles themselfs. Well, I have two OCs who are like me, but; I won't say who the other is.
Kitten

@Coyboat I definitely wouldn't, making characters is half the fun. And I'm not fond of self inserts either, because it's harder to emotionally detatch yourself from the situation, people often don't know their own faults and ways they'd react necessarily, you're more likely to be more competitive because it's you, and often times real people just aren't as interesting. I wouldn't do half the things my characters do because I care more for my safety.
But for my favorite character, I have a lot of characters I like...But if I had to pick one I suppose it'd be Etta, because she's one of the most original ones I have. And I just really like her personality and motives.
Eli_Broady

Its hard to pick a favorite one - I had lots of characters made for IRL tabletop roleplaying sessions, none of them are currently on RPR, although I did use one of my concepts for my current charactet (he is severely changed from the way he was initially created as).
I try to distance myself from characters I create and seek inspiration in things I've read or watched.
My favorite of all my OC’s is Serena, an angel sent to earth to collect souls for a sacrifice to make god stronger, but eventually finds lothar, a shark man who’s family was killed by merpeople, but he has kids, and they go on adventures and find the rest of the oc’s I chose to make them go with. It’s actually the plot of my book that they meet to overthrow god himself, because in my book he’s an evil son of a hmmmmmmmm
Ah it's tough to choose between all my ''children" aka ocs.
Truthfully, probably Jak was my favorite character of all time but I don't have him available anymore due to some unfortunate circumstances.

My second favorite oc would be Prince Jun, since it's easier to get him into alot of rps for some reason. People just love him idk why.lol
Janella. The fusion of some of my OCs before I took a years long roleplay hiatus. Upon returning I took an evil, cold-blooded noble Drow named Erilyn Kendrix and a humorous, impulsive moon elf I had named Evie Mae and kind of fused them together. She’s easily the most
successful of my characters.
MitsuHarp

Rob. I like Rob.
MitsuHarp

lol

I walk this lonely chat the only one that I have ever known.
Kitten

It's not that lonely.
