So this is mildly self indulgent, but I feel like as a roleplayer, sometimes I have quirky little facts about my characters that I never get to share.

So, I’m inviting you to share a fun fact about your OC (or OCs!) that maybe you haven’t gotten to talk about!

I’ll throw a few out for starters.

•Iskra can’t read, and she gets very angry when someone points it out.

•Marcello is scared of blood, and will pass out at the smell. When you ask him why, he’ll blame it on a “sensitive stomach”. This is not the case.

•Iskra has an odd amount of knowledge about northern kingdoms. This is due to the fact she, contrary to what she tells, grew up as the daughter of a sherrif in the north. Iskra doesn’t take kindly to people who know the truth, and usually gets violent upon mention.

•Katja can’t swim. Living inland, it was never a skill she really needed to learn, and nowadays she just avoids it.
Yuko Futsuoka (played by DuchessMoon-Neko)

Yuko hates bugs.

Like, really, really hates bugs.
RedLantern

Well. ...

Can't come up with anything for now, I guess there ain't quircky. xD:')
Iggy (played by Skipbab)

Iggy wants to taste and eat everything. Like once she tried to nibble at a person.
Lux has tattoos of wings on his cheeks. He got them in his senior year from a rather shady place as part of a dare.

Yuan actually started out as a human with a fiance named Maria. Michaleas was her older brother. Maria then became Yuans sister and Yuan developed into a closeted homosexual. Lol.
Fandom Characters (played by KansasVenomoth)

The star system the Andromeda family is traveling out to has a number of Easter eggs hidden through it.

KS-1291861 is named after the state of Kansas, hence the KS, while the last few numbers is when Kansas was admitted to the United States; January, 29th of 1861, while the system itself was discovered exactly a thousand years after.

The system's star is named after Kansas itself, the letters are simply rearranged.

Each planet is named after a city in Kansas, while their starship, the U.S.S Salina, is named after another city in Kansas. Ironically, out of all the cities I used, I've only ever been to Olathe and Wichita.
Aekra (played anonymously)

Aekra started out as a Dungeons and Dragons character named "Akra," but the DM kept mispronouncing it and eventually I just changed the name.
Esk is dubious of "fake" dairy products, claiming he doesn't know what's in it and is pretty sure it's all chemicals. Yet he'll happily scoff all other junk food. He's a hypocrite.

Esk also is barely literate, he claims he just hates reading but really, the big words give him a headache.

He's also a very accomplished artist, but he has no imagination. He's very good at portraits. He draws to get thoughts and memories out of his head (he has a near photographic memory and it's not fun) but claims he doodles to "pass the time". His sketch books are more like journals than anything else, chronicling his life and experiences in images. He never looks back over them, he treats them like therapy in a way. Once he has something down on paper it's like it's no longer stuck rattling round his head and he can move on. He has no interest in dwelling on the past, so he never looks back at his previous drawings, yet somehow he's loathe to destroy them as well.

There is ONE image he's never been able to get out of his head. One of his childhood sketchbooks features multiple attempts, but they just look like red scribbles on white. He doesn't want to talk about it.

Lope's irrationally scared of cats.

Hytar can not lie, at all, not even a little bit. He's become very good at twisting the truth though.

Luka has a thing for older men. Grizzled old guys with scars and muscles.

Harris is actually an okay singer, but he never sings. He hates karaoke and he hates musicals. He also plays the violin.

Matt can play the piano, and he's pretty good at it.

Web plays the trumpet, because his brother gave him a trumpet once as a gift, probably as a joke, and he decided he'd learn to use it. It gave him something to do in his free time.

Kamal likes to garden, specifically, he cultivates weeds and roses. Why roses? he argues they're about as entropic as weeds, only reason they aren't treated as such is because they're 'pretty'. He adores plants that are very hard to kill and take over, he thinks such strength should be celebrated.

Silence, like all her race, doesn't communicate verbally. As a naturally telepathic species they don't "speak" into one another's heads either, they project feelings, sensations, images. It means they are very very hard for "speaking" telepaths to understand as their though processes and their method of communication is quite quite alien and abstract.

Due to this natural telepathy all of her race always can hear one another's surface thoughts. It makes them fairly blunt. However, allowing another into your deeper thoughts, sharing your inner most mind is considered the most intimate of acts, one they don't do with just anyone.

also they're marsupials <_< yeah they're basically giant telepathic, winged kangaroo/sloths. eheheh.

and some ooc facts?

I created an entire species out of spite and as a subtle "screw you" and counterbalance to an overly magical race the then GM kept ramming down our throats. I decided the perfect counter to their "magic magic everything is magical, I don't have to explain, it's magic" was ultra scientific people who were very abrupt and blunt about their distaste for magical solutions to everything. It was cathartic. Ahem.

Jarral was originally an NPC, designed to do a thing for a small little plot and intended to just disappear. I er.. grew fond of him, so he stayed.

Ben, Rune, Mitchell and Asher were ALL created as a sort of challenge and a remark about the tropes of vampire rps at the time. Ben was a counter to the "romantic high school" thing, Rune was a "bet you can't make a myerpire actually work as a balanced character" challenge, Mitchell was a kick back against the "all vampires are sooo pretty and beautiful and hot omg" and Asher was because of the whole "all vampires are pale white guys and girls, why are there so few black vampires?"
Eoin also kinda falls under the "not all vampires are pretty" thing but he wasn't created for that reason, and despite him face being half melted he STILL got girls fawning over him in rps lol. Hilarious.

on the same note, my werewolf character is named Edward because of Twilight. It AMUSED ME okay?
I never got around to making a vampire and naming him Jacob lol, but I do have a Mage named Jacob who's cousin and grandfather were werewolves... so... close enough.
bahahaha.

Speaking of Jake, his cousin being male is entirely because I missed an S when typing up a character history, and the GM, being that GM, decided that he'd embrace my typo and make a boy named Clara. lol. Poor kid. I don't have the heart to still call him that, so he goes by Clarence, which probably isn't his birth name... ahem.
THe main version of Aro is completely human, with no fantastical abilities. However, he can take both the main Cole (an alien) and the main Ethas (a spellsword) on in a fight, at the same time, and not even break a sweat.

All three of my main characters (Aro, Cole, and Ethas) are each based on an aspect of me. Cole looks exactly like me, except for eye color, and the lack of acne. That, and sometimes different heights, skin tones, and stuff like that. Ethas is based on my emotion. Aro is based on my skill. Well, if my skill was multiplied by a really, really lot.
Kitten

Hnmmm. Good topic...
Well, Gwen is haphephobic. She's afraid of being touched, which developed over time because in roleplays it just seemed natural.
She also is almost afraid of children, more like anxious around them because her adopted brother had died and she was partially to blame.
Holly doesn't really feel a lot of remorse, which I've developed over time as well. When she ruined a girls reputation even though she didn't deserve it, Holly didn't really feel bad despite knowing it was wrong.
Matilda is very conflicted which is why I like her so much. The main points are:
Friends. She has trust issues but she really wants friends.
Religion. Her father is a Christian and her mother an Atheist.
Behavior. She acts very different around different people.
Abigail is a pacifist, and strongly against violence.
Alexis is good at chess.
That's about all that comes to mind right now.
Welllll, I guess I'll go athrough a couple characters with ransom facts about them.

First off,

Brooklyn;
She doesn't act as insane as she is, mainly because she just acts childish all the time. She seems a lot more... Less murderous than she actually is. To most people, she looks perfectly sane, just... weird, which is completely the wrong case as she's very mentally unstable.
Wooooah how fascinating.

Grey Draven;
Well it says on their profile that they're gender questioning, but they're actually fully transgender in most RPs I do, so I plan on changing that later on. Also, they're basically as broken as their brother. They're also a MAJOR nerd, having an addiction to reading sci-Fi books and playing video games. Major gamer.

Jax Draven;
He has the most AMAZING voice and can play the guitar beautifully. I usually use the band "Puggy" to reference his singing, but he's only sang in one RP so far. Also, he's basically a closeted homosexual, and when the RP goes all gay and cute, he won't be afraid to serenade his love and announce his love to the world.

That's all that comes to mind right now XD
