Footsteps crunching against the sodden ground was the only sound at this time of night. Black boots against grey cobbles. Rain pattered lightly, foreshadowing the moment before heavens opened. There was supposed to be a thunderstorm in an hour or so and the vampire couldn't wait. Not only was thunder and lightning exciting, it was also badass.
Cloak flowing behind her, she took deliberate steps towards a nearby tavern, ruby lips pulling up into her trademark smirk.
After staging her death, none of the common customers in 'The drunken pig' had expected the cloaked woman to come back. This was shown as she roughly shoved the door opening, the bang resounding into the night like a gunshot. Almost immediately, the room fell silent, all eyes on her. Her usual, trusty belt of daggers was slung low around her hips and dark eyes scanned the room, the smirk never dropping. If anything, it grew marginally, fangs glinting in the light. Gods above, did she enjoy dramatic entrances.
Amira slowly turned her gaze to the table in the corner, her usual spot, and, automatically, the guy there moved. Quickly, as well. It seemed the fear she had dropped into the place hadn't yet leeched out. Good.
Nodding at the bartender, Amira made her way to the back table, taking the previously vacated seat and slinging an arm along the chair next to it casually, humming to herself. And now she waited.
