Moving form place to place is routine. A while back people without H-genes didn’t want us around anymore. Everyone has a different mutation. Having teleportation has helped with avoiding the patrols. But now patrols are increasing and private companies are hunting us down for sport......
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

The H-gene is a mutation that causes the person to have an extraordinary ability. The H-gene can be caused later on in life or happens at birth. The only way to know for sure is when the ability expresses itself.

Well in most settings she doesn't have any special abilities but I'd she were to have the H- gene available I would just modify her to include that. I think an ssibility to generate and manipulate electricity to a degree would work well with her for example.
