Eloise put her bag over her back before boarding the bus she took one last look at the small house that she lived in, hearing yelling and trying to remember the good times, when nothing came she pursed her lips and holding the huge duffel in her other hand boarded the yellow school bus sitting in the back seat.
Eloise took a job as summer counselor a week ago to get away from her so called " family. She was treated like crap and to be honest she doubted she was even their kid since she looked like no one in family. Everyone in her family had either ginger or blonde hair and green eyes Eloise looked like no one in family with fair completing shoulder length brown hair and mesmerizing lavender eyes. She was happy to get away from them and take a break somewhere far.

Gene stood next to the lake, spraying the cool water into his face. The neck of his shirt was drenched and his knees were covered in leaves and they were damp. He loved the sound of the swaying branches and leaves and the crunching of twigs as deer pranced through the forest. He smiled softly to himself and chuckled as a bird perched on a branch and sang a beautiful song.

The bus eventually took off as she saw her so called mother looking through window before scowling and closing the curtains." Good riddance " Eloise whispered to herself feeling slightly sad, and slightly relieved. the woman who was refereed to as her ' mother said she burned a picture of her biological father cause he was pain in the ass, so Eloise had no connection to make as to who she looked like.
Along the way bus picked up to some more people and and the finally took on the highway to camp Rain forest.Eloise was looking out a window when she felt someone tap her shoulder lightly. She turned to see a girl with short black hair and sort of goth look to her." hey mind if join you? upfront looks too perky and cheery for my taste." the girl spoke giving slight smile.Eloise nodded and moved her bag put under her feet to keep it from scooting upfront if bus suddenly jerks forward

Gene yawned and stood up. He then saw a bus riding on the road on the other side of the lake. He cursed under his breath and backed up deeper into the forest, not wanting more people to disturb his peace and make more rumors about him. He darted back to his cabin and rushed inside, locking the door with a click.

As the girl sat down she took out her hand* hey I am Ava its my second summer here." She kinda of smiled. Eloise gave soft smile and shook her hand " I am Eloise, it is my first summer here." Eloise replied .
Oh that cool did you ever work with kids before?" Ava asked curious." Eloise nodded
I took baby sitting jobs as often as it came , i didn't really wanna be home so i wanted to do something where there wasn't so much negativity."Eloise said as bus pulled out of highway and into a woodsy area. Few minutes later they were at destination. Ava noticed Eloise was upset but decided not to poke into her business.
"hey i hope its not gonna come off as creepy being as we just met, but i hope you will be my co counselor this summer instead of the perky up front. " Ava said kind of unease rubbing her arm.
I agree i never been one to be around cheerleader types anyway" Eloise said an smiled and bus pulled into an area with lots of cabins spread out and beautiful lake scenery

Gene hid in his house. No more people.. please...let this me my imagination... he thought peeking out his window. Be could no longer see the bus, but he knew they were on the lake grounds.

Come on I will help you set up the kids will be here at noon. Ava go up and grabbed her stuff. Eloise got her and followed her off the bus, before she descened the stesp the driver called out" hey kid?" Eloise turned around and looked at man with confused look.
Watch your back this place seems harmess but it holds bad secrets and history,... try and have fun forget what i said" The man was nervous he presumed Eloise wouldn't believe him but as she finally got off bus doors slammed sghut and backed out really fast leaving Eloise confused.

Yo Elly come on we gonna be late for orientation?" Ava called out and Eloise taking her bags went to Ava and they walked toward the cabin

Gene looked out the window and saw the bus leavjng. His eyes narrowed and he got up. He opened the cabin door and left, shutting the door behind him, and going deeper into the forest. He needed to go see his pet Fox, Shiro.

After the orientation Eloise got her camp tshirts and stuff to use and went to get her co counselor and bunk assignment. She approached a peppy looking blond girl with clip board. the girl looked up at Eloise studying her and looking up and down
Are you sick or is that you're natural skin color?" the girl asked and Eloise could sense bitchiness in her voice but said nothing.
It is natural I am very healthy my dr gave me clean bill of health 3 days ago." Eloise replied calmly she dealt with bitchiness enough and she was not gonna give the power to the blonde to see her uncomfortable. The girl sneered and pointed her pen at Eloise eyes
What about your eyes, are they contacts or what?' The girl asked again more snarkyness. Eloise shook her head.
I dont wear contacts I see no need for them, if you dont believe me i cant take my eye out and show you." Eloise said with an enigmatic stare. the blonde girl looked grossed out and peeved. She took her clipboard and read of it
You are in bunk 6 with Ava as your co counselor you two are weird and perfect." The girl said uneasy. Eloise thanked her and grabbing her stuff left the room but not before she hear some guy whisper. "Buy ghost girl" Eloise rolled her eyes and left to bunk 6

Gene saw his favorite pet and warned it of the people. If Shirk gets to close to them, they might shoot his pet. Shirk yipped and licked his face.

Eloise went inside bunker and saw Ava unloading her stuff.
Hey Eloise got my wish you, i get cool quiet chick as co counselor." She smiled as she said that and Eloise smiled. No one really liked being around her due to weird mannerism and seemingly docile nature.
Thank same here, One guy called me Ghost girl" like I haven heard that before."Eloise shook her head and Ava laughed.
They give everyone names mine is witch because i can do magic tricks lame ..by the way what the bus guy say to you, you look unsure when he left." Ava asked helping Eloise unpack her things. "
he said something about bad things happening and recent dark history..." No idea what that about though" Eloise said

Gene played with the animals of the forest, hiding whenever they heard campers. Shiro yipped with glee as they played around with a stick.

Ava felt silent It was made known to her last year about what happen years ago.
i think he meant the girl that was killed her coupe years before, some say she drowned other said the guy that stays at house across lake did it because she played a prank. I hear they say its haunted or something." Ava said looking at Eloise. Eloise saw genuine fear in Avas eyes and did not know what to say.
Wow i get away from my so called family only to come to haunted camp, well should be interesting. Eloise finally unpacked with Ava's help and looked at clock it was 5 minutes to noon

Gene stopped dead in his tracks as a woman with blonde hair and is cheery walks into the forest with a clip board. She stopped once she saw Gene. "W-Who are you?" She snapped, her eyes wide. Gene growled and muttered something under his breath. "Bitch, I live in these woods. I don't know why your crossing my property? Shouldn't you be over there with all those little campers?" Gene sent a withering glare at her that usually left a burning mark in your soul.
Tears started to flood her eyes and stream down her face. She screamed and ran away, terrified.

Camper started arriving and in little time the bunk was filled with 6 kids 3 girls and 3 boys. One little girl looked at Eloise and smiled?
You got pretty eyes are you new counselor with Ava?' She asked she looked little little doll with strawberry blonde hair cute ace and small body. she was wearing tshirt with overall skirt nd blue sneakers. Eloise kneeled down at eye level with child an smiled.
Yes i am I am Eloise but if it it easier you can call me Elly" the little girl smiled and reached out her hand
I am Sarah will you be our new friend for summer. Eloise smiled and nodded soon the kids gathered around eloise and she sat criss cross on mat. Ava noticed and smiled" Nice girl the kids drawn to you like magnet

Before the puppy blonde girl with the clip board could run off, Gene grabbed her. "Tell anyone you saw me and what I said to you and you'll live in a world of pain.." with that he let the weeping girl go and he sharply turned around and grabbed Shiro

After a while it was time to give kids lunch and setlle them for some activities, when out of corner of her eye she saw soomeone behind a tree.. it looked like a child but something was really wrong, she was pale and wet and her face was beaten. her skin was not living color and Eloise tried to approach her but stopped dead in her tracks when girl looked at her " You ... will.. pay" An eerie child voice pierced her ears and child vanished right in front of her

Gene growled, letting Shiro. "I hate campers.." with those words a girl popped up in from of him. He knew her. She was that girl that... "DIE... DIE... DIE..." She chanted, her voice shrill and ear piercing. "OH SHUT THE HELL UP!" Gene roared. She just stood there silent. "DIE." Then she disappeared. That Damn girl has been haunting Gene every since the incident happned, and he can't seem to shake her off.

Eloise was startled then went along woodsy path until she wound up at the lake pier, there were kayaks and rowboats, but there was no girl, she heard a man scream and look ahead, but there was no one except the man. It was odd. Was this the man they kept talking about.Eloise enjoyed the view it was sunny and water was beautify sparkling in the light. Eloise took out her phone and took several pictures

Gene saw a girl in the corner of his eye and he whipped his head around. "Shit." He cursed and darted away, and his behind a tree.
