Your responses helped me to come up with a few things to say.
First off, I'm a general Science Fiction and Fantasy fan with with some focus on anthropomorphic (furry) themes.
While I sometimes critizise something like Star Trek to no end does not mean I can't enjoy it. I have developed a problem with many stories as they don't go deep enough (or I'm thinking about it too much). For example, I cringed when I heard the distances mentione between starships on Star Trek: Discovery once again. For me the show is less science fiction than Star Trek has ever been before, but this is one of the constant I can't stand. Distances in space in miles or kilometers, when the speeds of the ships are hundreds or thousands kilometers per second. But enough of that.
Being a general Science Fiction and Fantasy fan makes it a bit problematic doing any statement on what kind of RP I like, as they are bit too many. I like playing aliens, fantasy races and the like for the different points of view, hence my like of furry characters, though I differ with many furries here as I like to make them more than humans with furry skins.
Thanks to the longest running Scince Fiction series in the world I have also developed a slight fascination with unaging characters. While I like Captain Kirk, he has been surpassed twice now. Once when we found out why a certain Major McLane commanded the Orion VII when he sacrificed his ship to safe earth and got command of the Orion VIII. The second time when Kirk lamented boredom on space exploration in Star Trek: Beyond when a certain (formerly) Major Perry Rhodan is still fascinated by space exploration while hoping humanity, which he led several times, will find it's way without his help after his 3000th birthday.
I am also getting a collection of old movies and shows on DVD/Blu-Ray together. This includes titles like 'Forbidden Planet', 'Buckaroo Banzai', Logan's Run', the 'Martian Chronicles', 'Westworld' and 'Futureworld' as well as crazy ones like 'Zardoz', but I'm also after newer ones. There are too many already forgotten and I want more than just a list, I want to be able to watch them. It's been over a decade that I watched TV, another reason for my collection.
