"What matters to me the most?" A pause, then a short, quiet answer. "...Living." A half smile found its way to his lips before he continued, "Otherwise, I would never be able to take in and appreciate what means the most to me, which is my beloved ones."
Giving a short, coarse start of a wry chuckle, the man explained himself further, "You see, there is a difference between what matters the most, and what means the most. It's all a matter of subjectivity and objectivity." Letting his hands dance along for emphasis, they soon folded against his body in a thoughtful gesture.
"I could go on about this, but..." He tossed a knowing side glance as he summarized his point, his eyes brimming with a teasing secret that will never be spoken. "Let's just say those phrases have two different meanings, which deserve two different answers. That's all I have to say."
What is your most prized possession? An item, a place, a memory, a person? And why is it so important to you?

"In the context of material possessions, I wouldn't have stayed alive this far without my axes. It's a kill or be killed world out there," Lex paused before continuing, "but even more important than my blades, I gotta say my emotions. It's so easy to go completely numb when the world has screwed you over as much as it has me, but going numb means not caring, and not caring makes you complacent."
Lex looked around suspiciously.
"Hey, you there, what is the most evil thing you have ever encountered?"
Lex looked around suspiciously.
"Hey, you there, what is the most evil thing you have ever encountered?"
Devin grins, "The most evil thing? Why now m'darling it's all a matter of opinion don't you think. What is evil but that which good will not accept, and what is good but the mirror of that. Though if we are strictly being traditional and not delving into philosophy I might have to say that there was this one time in university where a summoning went awry. Can't say I was ever the same but I sure know Professor Harpford isn't or at least the two halfs of him are forever changed. You never lived less ya seen a man worn like a two piece Sunday best."
"Hellllllo there," Devin eyes a stranger who looks just filled with answers, "riddle me this... What gets you out of bed in the morning and let's you close your eyes at night?"

Hara gives a wry smirk, head canting as he looks over his blue fingernails, a thread of smoke comes from dark lips.
"Maybe I'm a fool, but one day things will get better, surely.." He mused, taking another inhale of the slender tube.
"Otherwise, nothing like the threat of starvation to get your legs running and your sleep valuable."
"What's your poison stranger?"

Man's screams end abruptly in the nearby room. Just moments later, a gentleman dressed as a fancy bartender holds a wine glass with a red thick substance in it. He closes the door quickly and pulls out a white handkerchief to neatly clean the outside of the glass. After bowing, he hands it to the woman in velvet armchair. "Other's pain and death, I suppose." she shrugs nonchalantly and graciously sips from the glass.
"Would you dare to push the limits further than you should in order to get the justice you deserve?"
" Farther than I should is subjective. I can push as far as I want. Any consequences will be slaughtered without question until I get vengeance. "
Sage toyed around with her knife, losing focus and cutting her hand. With a frown she looked up.
" Would you consider yourself a bad person, for taking lives? "

Jamison clicked his tongue and shifted. "I mean," He started, "You look in the wild and you've got animals killing animals all the time, y'know, humans killing other animals, but the second you kill a person, it's bad? No, it ain't, we're all killers. You've killed a bug. You've probably eaten meat. Same s--t. Taking a life is taking a life."
"You regret anything? Not somethin' small, y'know, something that keeps you up at night."
"You regret anything? Not somethin' small, y'know, something that keeps you up at night."
"Yes, I think everyone has, some more than others. What I do regret are things I like to avoid talking about it. I've felt enough guilt about it."
Now a question! It certainly didn't take the vampire long.
"If there was a thing you could change about yourself. What would it be?"

“I would want to fit into the ideas and hopes others have for me - and not let them down.”
“If you were given the chance to forcefully invade, conquer and rule a nation as either monarch or dictator, would you?”

Smirks at the question before downing the glass. "Been there, done that, back on the throne that was meant for me." she answered bitterly.
"If your partner becomes rather... Evil, something they never were before, would you try to stop them - kill them if it's necessary- or do your best to help them, even though it's almost impossible to do so?

"Option three; put their newfound lack of morals to good use."
"If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?"

Gia ponders for a moment, shifting weight from leg to leg. "Probably a cockatiel, they're beautiful, majestic creatures." She smiled and thought once again.
"I want to ask.. What is your ideal outfit?"
"I want to ask.. What is your ideal outfit?"
"Usually formal things. Vest and tunics that match well, I like to look presentable in public."
Quinne pondered over another question. "If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them?"
Quinne pondered over another question. "If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them?"
"What!? Is this some kind of a joke? No? Ok then, I'll answer your little hypothetical. I'd teach them to never get their hopes up, if you can do that, nothing will bother you. Life is too unpredictable to expect anything good out of it for long."
"On that note, do you believe in hope, or do you think it's just what people choose to have so they don't have to face reality?"
"On that note, do you believe in hope, or do you think it's just what people choose to have so they don't have to face reality?"
"I do not believe in it myself, but I've seen many humans practically rely on it. Hope is fickle however.. For as soon as those poor fools find themselves unable to run from harsh enough reality, that hope quickly dies and is replaced by fear and defeat.." He thought a moment, adding, "I envy them, fools as they may be, that they can feel so hopeful and full of faith if only for a little while. I've forgotten the feeling.."

"Heh! That's a tough one, but I think I certainly would. Everything else would probably disappear too." Quinne shrugged, tapping his fingers against something.
"What is your goal in life?"

Broadway star is the big dream, but I really I just want to have a happy life, maybe find someone nice to settle down with. As long as I have somewhere to perform.

Rachel thought about it. "Maybe.... With or Without me by SAINTE. I think I can relate." She suddenly realized she also had to ask a question. "Oh. Right. Um... If you could go back and influence a decision someone made, what would you choose and why?" Rachel was proud of herself for her fABULOUS DEEP QUESTION
