How you ever found yourself trapped between what you want and your duty?

"No sir I have no problem with either. I get both. I run my own ship". Looking down for her ship. She points to a stranger." Is there such a thing as pearls before swine?".

"Oh absolutely! I suppose that's one small nugget of human wisdom they're right about. Why waste time spending resources or efforts to get someone foolish or unworthy to understand or appreciate what you're offering? It makes no sense, and it's why I've taken that rationale to the next step. Why grace a handful of weak fools with my knowledge or power when I can have them clamor and destroy themselves for my amusement instead? This way nothing is wasted and I get to have fun!"

"Hmm, if we're going off of moral dilemmas or philosophical points, I'm curious about a particular 'puzzle' people have. I'm not sure if you've heard, but there's an ethical quandary regarding a set of train tracks and a rail switch. There is one person tied to one side of the tracks, and three to the other, and a train is fast approaching. For the sake of this, you must pull the lever. No leaving it be, no untying the trapped persons. Without knowing anything about the people on the track, who will you spare and who will die? The singular person, or the three, and why?"

"Why use the lever if I can just stop the train with magic?" Twirls black bottle around in hand. "However... If for some reason I couldn't, I would have to choose the track with the three and save the one." Smirks slightly "If that was to happen, hypothetically..."

"What is the strongest feeling or emotion in the world? And is there one over all?" Slouches against the wall and burps.

"Love which I have never known. Only shopping and drinking alone". Wiping tears from her eyes. She asks a stranger. "What if gravity stopped working on this planet?".

"If there was an evildoer behind it, i would seek out him or her or it, and make them return it to normal. Probably fit in a few gravity puns as well. But, if it just stopped working for no reason whatsoever, i would say my goodbyes, and leave this universe for some thousand years. Of course i COULD just come back as soon as it stops/everyone adapts to it, but that's less dramatic, so some thousand years it would be."

"How many languages can you speak? Bmtp, jt uijt pof jodmvefe jo uibu ovncfs?"

“Haha...I don’t understand what you are saying...but, let’s see, I can speak about four languages at the moment. Japanese, being my mother tongue, followed by English, Chinese and Russian. I am not sure if I should count German in there, because technically, I am still learning.”

“How many countries have you been to so far?”

"I sail the 7 seas with frequent stops for pirate reunions in Florida so one country". After drinking a bottle of rum she slurs a question to a stranger. "If you ruled the world what changes would you make to make it better?".

She thought for a second. "Well the only obvious thing to do to make it better would be to give rulership to someone else!"

"What is the closest you have ever come to dying?"

Blaise thought for a bit, "I would have to say that being close to a lake is close to dying for me as my body is 70% made of fire."

"What would you do if your parent or parents were ancient mythical creatures?"

"Eat, drink, sleep, breathe. I honestly don't get this question."

"Do you like music?"

I love music, it feeds the soul!

Certain kinds of dance. My latest is Turkish bellydance.

He turns to the person below him “Is there any advice you can give me? To let go of my past?”

"Your past can either make you stronger or weaker, it just depends on how you define it. Are you going to let one bad experience be the death of you?"

Blaise looked at the next person, "How would you feel if you woke up and how powers? For those that already have powers, how would you feel if you suddenly lost them for no reason?"

"no powers huh? well, go to a different universe with no life forms in it to wait in and hope they come back. Wait, no universe travel... that.. really puts me in a pickle. Just
hope that i happened to lose them in a universe where i haven't made any enemies, put aside any big projects, sell all my souvenirs that don't exist in said universe for high prices, and live a human life. A very rich human life."

"Are you going to answer no to this question?"

"Yes. I will." He smirks and admires the few decorative rings on his hands for a moment before asking.

"Do you think mermaids are real?"

“Yes, I believe they are. I’ve met a few myself.” Afol chuckled softly, then looked over to ask his question

“What is your strategy in battle? Do you keep on the defensive, offensive, or are you more of someone to sit back and give support to the people in the fight?”

"I'm more of a strategist, analysing my foe and reacting accordingly. The occasional visions also help."
