"Yes in my business it happens a lot". Reflecting quietly she asks a stranger. "Do you know how to surf?".

"No? Water and me aren't something that comes together well."

"Do yo know manners?"

"Yes I am so good with my manners". Coming up with a quick question she asks a stranger."Is the loch Ness monster real?".

"The...what? I don't think..."

"Uh...Well, sheesh, I had a question but now I can't remember...Uh, what kind of fighting do you like? Styles, I mean..."

"When men fight over me silly. Usually fistfights.". She thinks for a long time and points to a stranger. "You yeh you if you could give the gift of immortalality who would you give it to?".

Thorne glanced up at the question. "It depends on the immortality. Living forever but able to be killed; I'd look for a suitable challenger to end my existence. God-like immortality, I'd do my utmost to piss off the Fates to snip my cord."

He tossed out a question in return to the next stranger. "Steak or Seafood?"

"Steak rare I love juicy meat." Licking her lips like a lioness after a satisfying meal. She asks a stranger. "Wine or whiskey?".

"Both! I'm well- acquainted with all types of alcohol...I am.a bartender, after all."

"Hmm...You can have one on the house! What would you like?"

"Whiskey. And a little Coke. Actually just make it a Jack and Coke. Actually, just go ahead and make it two. I have to go do an unconstitutional sting on a diner that's just a front for the mafia, without a warrant, tomorrow and I'm a little...nervous," he admitted softly, which was uncharacteristic of him. But the woman who had asked seemed to have a way of drawing people out. It was almost as if she had been a bartender before. (( ))

David turned to the person next to him.

"So, would you rather be at the mercy of the mafia or the nazis?"

"Isn't everyone a little broken, in one way or another?" Jess said. She turned to the next person, "What is something that everybody wants?"

"Some man to do me and my homework. I'm late for cheerleader practice.". Thinking quickly she asks a stranger. "Is there life on other planets?".

"I'd be out of a job if there weren't."

He tossed a ball to the next person. "Peace, love, or happiness?"

"Love men with money and power". Laughing out loud she asks a stranger."You yeh you why didn't Mona Lisa smile for Michelangelo when she was being painted by him?".

"Maybe she farted."

"Or OR! Maybe he was painting too slow and she was getting mad about it!"

"Maybe she farted more'n once 'cos he was painting too slow."

"Sounds good - but wasn't that made by that Da Vintage guy? Idunno if he was that slow. AAAAAANYWAY. What's something everyone looks stupid doing?"

"Trying not getting to tied the yardarm or walking the plank after pissing me off". After drinking a bottle of rum she asks drunkenly. "When are we getting married and going on our honeymoon?".

A deep blush sprouted on the young scientist's freckled face at the question, yet she couldn't help but let out a soft, sweet giggle from her pale lips. ''I may be a widow my dear but I'm still married to my work.'' The smile on her face faltered for a moment before she turned to the next person, thick, round glasses falling down her nose slightly.

''The human brain was so much smaller 200,000 years ago but by now they've grown by at least 30%. What do you think might have caused that?'' She asked with a small tilt of her head.

"Huh.. really? I unno, head trauma meebe? You know, like, before a muscle gets bigger you have to break it first and the brain is a muscle so...guh, I'm not a thinker, I'm a fighter!"

"How about you? Thinker, fighter or both?"

"Obviously... a fighter."

"What kinds of things will we evolve into?"

"We may never know, but I believe we can become anything. I keep seeing this Korra girl around here...is a girl like her susceptible to tape? I'm asking for a curious sort who's a buddy of mine."

"Fairly certain most people can be subdued with tape."

"So, we got this council we're making up to unite our nations, does the centre of between Bionis and Mechonis, essentially the centre of the world sound like a good place to put the building?"
