Rowan stared at nothing in particular, obviously lost in thought as he hugged a teddy bear closer.

"I dunno... I like to do whatever I want as soon as I want to... I guess I've never tried to um... Oh! I know! I've never tried to be like um... Those big scary guys who work out all the time and everybody respects them! I want to do that! It's like being a big ol' bear! Grr!" He giggled and pulled his knees closer to his chest, almost looking like an all-too-excited egg. He stopped after a second of uncontrollable laughter. "But I'm too tiny..." He pouted and stared at the floor he was sitting on.



"Okay! Okay! Um... I've got one, I just forgot! … Wait! No, I didn't! Sooooo…" After his drawn-out "so", his voice dropt a little deeper, to what could only be assumed to be his real voice. "Would you take immortality if it was offered to you, or what?"

"Immortality always comes with drawbacks. It's a nice dream, but an overrated one--I'd outlive my entire family and any children I might one day have--though it might ensure more stability for the Empire. It would be a difficult choice and not one to be made lightly, either way."

"What is your favorite food?"

Pσρ¢σяη popcorn so much POPCORN, every little piece with the cheese and all of those powders you shake onto them at the picture houses that say they are cheeses but they are not anything like cheeses at all and the ones with the brown shells on them and those n̸oi҉sy Christmas tins with all of them IN, and..ańḑ-̨!

Ahem! Hello! Pardon me! I am Joey! I am an angel. I like popcorn a little bit, oh, yes.

I suppose I must have a question, as well. How about - how would you define 'genius,' yes?

"Odd question.. I assume-by your asking-that you don't want the actual dictionary definition? Then I'd define it as someone who... Hmn… Can accumulate knowledge and apply it. Not necessarily reliant on their I.Q. or anything, but moreso their skill and wit... Is that sufficient?"

"Alright then... Why are you here? I don't necessarily mean in a philosophical sense, though you may interpret it that way if you want. After all, my question is rather dull... Why are you here, with the rest of us?"

"Because I have nothing better to do. It's been too quiet, and all of the people I normally hang out with have all decided to mind their own business." She sighs. "I like the company. If I'm alone for too long, my BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) begins to bug me."

"What's your biggest pet peeve?"

"Those snobbish stuck up nobles getting fat at their tables while the rest of us starve."

"What would you do if you were the only person on earth?"

Shinga pulled out a thin black cigarette and lit it with a flame on the tip of the claw-like nail upon his thumb. Taking a drag, he answered. "I'd be hoofin' it over to the next realm of existence t' see what's worth pilferin' to add to my collection of goodies."

Flicking the stub to ground he sighed and glanced over at another random person. "May I know your name?"

"Satan pleased to meet you hope you catch my name". Turning to a stranger he asks."Do you make New year's resolutions?".

He shakes his head. "I have never heard of that tradition before, but I can guess what it might be. Does it even work? Probably not."

He shakes his head again. "What is the thing you hate most about people? Not one group or person in particular, but just....most people in general."

"Everything," she answered flatly. "If it's not one thing unforgivable about people, it's another... I can't think of a single person in this world I don't hate... Perhaps I can be proven wrong someday, but that is highly doubtful."



Having said that, she turned to the next person and made eye contact as best she could, but there was a clear distaste for them written subtly on her face.

"This is wildly out of my usual... question-asking... Whatever! You get what I'm trying to say!" She's very frustrated, please just bear with her. "How do you feel about your friends really? Be as catty and backstab... y? As you want."

Despite the distaste on the woman's face, Ara offered her a grin and a wink. "I adore them. There'd be nothing I'd change about them, they are my friends for a reason.

Now a question...what would you do if you got a sudden large inheritance?" She'd hold out an invisible baton to whoever popped up next.

"Buy corvettes cameros go to Jamaica for a vacation". Asking a random stranger. "Did you eat to much for thanksgiving?".

"Uh...No? Maybe!...Don't ask me!"

"I'm not crazy, am I? Heh..."

"Well..." The woman dragged out. "I wouldn't exactly call you crazy." She sighed, keeping hold of her serious expression.

"You!" She called out, pointing the end of her staff at the next person. "Answer me this: Would you give anything to protect your loved ones?"

"Absolutely. Especially my youngest brother Roland. He is innocent and I hope he always remains that way, whatever I have to do to protect that innocence."

"If you were faced with suddenly inheriting a kingdom, what would be your first edict?"

"Make me queen of the kingdom". Looking down from her ship she points to a total stranger. "Wanna take me out for dinner and have me meet your parents?".

His dead eyes stared up at her with about as much distaste as Estelle's little description back there. They really ARE related, huh?

"Absolutely not. I'm good. Also, bold of you to assume I have money... Or parents."



"Eh... I'm gonna level with you here, I don't really care how you answer. What's the stupidest thing you've ever done? I need a good laugh and you look fool enough."

"Um...it's understood you would be the king/queen if you inherited the kingdom...that's not an answer, that's just a fact..." He shakes his head and sighs.

"The stupidest thing I've done? Venturing out into the seedier parts of the capital, I was attacked and my bodyguard was forced to kill someone to get me away. Between you and me, I don't think he had ever needed to before, and it made him a little sick--I actually feel a little bad for forcing him into that situation."

"Now, I'm gonna repeat my question from before seeing as it wasn't really answered. If you inherited a kingdom, what would be your first edict?" Samson certainly is a doggedly stubborn person at times. Or maybe he just dislikes people simply stating the obvious without adding to the discussion.

Minori shifted her weight between her feet, slightly anxious... very anxious...

"I... Don't really know... I would maybe... you know? Like... Take some people off the streets and into my home...? I mean.. I mean, like... Inheriting a kingdom comes with a lot of land and money I could share... I guess..."



"Hi... um... so here's a thing... How do you feel about um... You know... Um... how do you feel about friends? As in, like... is it worth it to give so much of yourself?"

"Friends? They're okay. I don't have many myself, but I am willing to give my life for the few I do have. And they would do the same. It is worth it, hun, and I'll tell you why. 'Cause they'll do the same. And there's a bond that will never truly be severed, and they're more like family than your own." She surprised herself with her answer, but she spoke from the heart.

She leaned against a wall, closing her eyes for a moment. "My turn to ask a question?" She mumbled. Finally making a decision, she said, "Here's one: What made you who you are today?"
