"As a man living a thousand generations, I would say yes, but only if the current systems is corrupt, ineffecient and structurally fragile. If the system already isn't what I just listed, then no. That is my answer"
"What are you thoughts on immortality?"
"What are you thoughts on immortality?"
"Immortality is overrated, at least when the line of succession is all but guaranteed, anyway. It's best that the empire experience a change in leadership from time to time." He scratched his chin in thought.
"What would you do if you woke up in the morning and had lost all your worldly possessions?"
"What would you do if you woke up in the morning and had lost all your worldly possessions?"
"Heh. Already had that happen." She looks at the next person. "What would you do if you woke up, remembered you are an orphan, then remembered that everyone except you and 4 other people are alive from your universe but know you're unable to die?"
(I wish I didn't lag...)
Kygor was swinging his mighty mace, bringing about it's destructive heft upon the hundreds of Wood Elvish resistance; cutting their numbers by the dozen with each swoop.
As the question came to him, his bloodied, cruel weapon hanged aloft himself by a single arm; a halt in slaughter - respite for his foes. He turn his attention to Lazari, eyeing her with those four piercing reptilian eyes, green as the jungle lush.
"I would slay the four, ensure they would never rise again" he say, strong, gruff, deep his voice, echo slightly beneath his helm. "Their continued presence is a challenge to my might. They are rivals, simply, I am inevitably bound to battle them to the death"
"And if I am unable to die?" The idea brought a joyous thought to the belligerent monster, evident by a brief chuckle. "Then I would shape the world, as it naturally should be : Strength above all. Immortality is as plainly Godhood".
Arrows pelts at the Titan's armor, but to no avail. Despite how deadly Elvish arrows are known to be, fletched by masters of the art, his armor barely surrendered a scratch, let alone a dent. Kygor lazily swings his mace, a bare effort, but still it killed five charging Elvish cavalrymen, along with their warhorses, then he directs his attention to the next person.
"And you," rude and frightening, is his tone, "Do you rally to my vision? That the strong should rule over the weak, or are you one with delusions that we all should live as equal?"

Kotal chuckles at the fellow wargod and raises a toast towards him, drinking blood from the hollowed out skull that is his cup. "Naturally. Only the strong should rule."
"What do you consider true power?"
"What do you consider true power?"
"The ability to command with not so much as a word, and reshape your surroundings on a whim." The answer came easily to him, as if he had already thought about it a lot before. And maybe he did have the magic to do it, judging by the sparks of fire that danced on the fingertips of one hand, and the frost forming on the other--commanding two opposing elements at the same time.
He continues playing with the elements, a different one dancing around his fingertips or teasing his robes every few seconds. "If you could lay all your ambitions aside for a day and just be an ordinary person content with everything they have in life, however little it might be, would you?"

Cchaaneh closed their eyes for a moment, imagining the life of an ordinary person, before opening them again and sighing. "I don't think so. The line of inquiry I'm following in my research goes against the grain of 'ordinary' life among my people, and living such a life even for a day wouldn't feel right to me."
"On that subject," they said after a momentary pause, turning to the next person, "if you had to choose between what was best for your people and what was best for yourself, which would you choose?"
"On that subject," they said after a momentary pause, turning to the next person, "if you had to choose between what was best for your people and what was best for yourself, which would you choose?"
"That is a simple matter, I already decided that long ago. I choose my people over myself, and even though I'm vilified as someone trying to stir up sedition, in the end I'm just doing what needs to be done. It doesn't matter if the rest of the world has forgotten where my loyalties lie, their approval was not a factor when I started working towards their well being."
"They say living for yourself is selfish, but I'm not inclined to judge, given what I've been through. What do you think? Society could not exist without some form of mutualism, but neither can it grow without ambition of the individual. On that note, do you live for yourself, or for another?"

He gave a shrug. "I have my pleasures, but ultimately if I had to choose between the good of the realm and doing what I want whenever I liked, the Empire would come first."
"How about you--if you had a vision that you knew without a doubt would benefit everyone for a long time to come, but no one listened, would you feel a war of conquest to force everyone to listen is justified?"

Ghaurug smiled and licked his tusks. "Let the blood be spilled. Let me drown in it. I would end a thousand thousand lives in the name of the Dread Father, and twice more to bring about my goals. Sithis' Void shall engulf the mortal realm, and all will know His great and terrible love."
Touching a hand to his heart and closing his eyes in a brief moment of exultation, he turned to the next person. "What kind of relationship do you have with the gods of your world?"

He snorted in amusement. "There are no gods--only magic and the cycle of rebirth. Only the peasants here believe in any kind of sentient higher power."
He shook his head again. "What kind of person would you most like to meet?"

Alexander chose to speak this time, having abandoned his casual clothes for a regal red and gold kimono; with his other side out of the picture for the moment, the androgynous crossdressing male seemed more than happy to give his unadulterated response to the magus.
"Someone --anyone really-- who's not as asinine as you, a fool merely created to be a pompous irritant for no reason other than to feel important in this gigantic multiverse, a multiverse that considers you as nothing more than a mere speck of dirt mottling its grand beauty and vastness," the deity half torted, before muttering as an aside, "'No gods,' my left toenail clipping... Learn some manners, you haggard insect."
"Anyway..." Appearing quite satisfied with his prideful rant, he turned to the next person and approached them with a pleasing, welcoming smile. "What sort of things have you seen throughout your travels, little one? Amuse this dazed immortal before fairest Meliere comes back to pull at my ear for such... 'Insolence,' hmm?"

"Pompous indeed, you verbose self-important windbag--I've seen mountains dozens of miles high, far larger than any natural force could ever create, brought into being by the titanic struggles of armies using magics long forgotten. I've viewed the Stormwall that surrounds an entire continent from the distance, preventing even the most protected of ships and skilled of mages from approaching by either air or sea. The capitol of the empire is always awash with the light of tens of thousands of protective wards that ensure no besieging army could ever hope to smash through by either hook or crook." He snorts, finding the seeming god as equally rude and obnoxious as Alexander finds him.
"What is the accomplishment of which you are most proud?"
"What is the accomplishment of which you are most proud?"
That was the final straw for the tiny male as he prepared for a comeback even grander than the mage's... If not for a mere hand clasping his mouth shut. His other half had just returned, and she was more than sick of his outbursts.
"I'll answer this one. My proudest accomplishment? ...Being able to talk to a human being," Meliere replied. As she talked, she had already pulled her angrier half into a tense embrace. The shorter male fumed, griped, and struggled against her palm and her hold, to no avail.
"Claiming to create realms, molding races and breathing life into them... Claiming to watching them walk and populate planet after planet, if they survive long enough to gain that sort of knowledge... That means absolutely nothing as that is something I was created to do by someone else higher than myself. As someone born to create things, that is something others of my kind just... You know, do, I suppose. As such, I see it as more of a feature, rather than an accomplishment I should be proud of."
"But talking to someone? To hear such profound and complex creatures talk to someone out of place like myself as if I were one of their own... The idea, nay, the concept... It humbles me to no end. So to have it happen to me is something I feel forever proud of. It means that I'm no longer confined to talking to those of my own ilk like this one over here," she tightened her fingers around the upset male's visage for her own emphasis, "and that I am allowed to fully participate in the workings of the realms without feeling too 'othered,' you see."
"We are not gods, to be fair with you," the female deity half opined, "but part of an extremely powerful race of creation mages... So please, address us as such. It humbles me; I adore the feeling of humbleness."
"And... Pardon my upset 'sibling' here..." She frowned towards Alexander. "He means naught but to stir up trouble, you see. I have to keep an eye on him, or he wanders off like this. My humblest apologies," she bowed towards the mage, making her male half bow as well by using her body and hands to press him downward to follow her movements.
"Now then... Questions, yes? Hmm... What's a simple pleasure of yours? Mine is tea. I love everything that humans make, but tea is a delightful little commodity that this one and I both enjoy."

The interruption saved what would probably have become a rather nasty row, and unexpectedly--he smiled, and bowed respectfully back. "Like you I enjoy talking, hearing when someone has something interesting to say that makes me think. A simple, honest debate is what I enjoy, when I can get a chance to do that between moments where I must be more diplomatic." He bowed again, even more respectfully than before.
"What one thing about your future would you most like to see, if you had the opportunity to look into it?"
"What one thing about your future would you most like to see, if you had the opportunity to look into it?"
Charlotte looked at the man, considering the question seriously and after several moments of deliberation, she answered.
"I'd like to see my death. Not to try to prevent it, no, that would be stupid- it's impossible to stay Atropos' hand, after all- but just to sate my curiosity."
She pointed at random person, "You. Who's the person you hate the most and why?"

She pointed at random person, "You. Who's the person you hate the most and why?"
"The person I hate most you say? Well, that question is easy. My advisor, Adrich. Gods he is awful. He hardly thinks I'm suited to rule! Like he could do anybetter!"
She turned to the next person, "I suppose I ask the question now, hm? I know! If you could teach everyone in the world one concept, what concept would have the biggest positive impact on humanity?"

The prince thought long and hard about the question before he answered--nearly five minutes, in fact. "I'd teach them the concept of thinking before they speak. The world would be a much better place if people gave time to give thoughtful, insightful responses."
He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, taking a while to come up with his own question. "What is the one thing you would hate to do most in the world, a thing you would say or do anything else to avoid doing?"

The Beast manifested its demonic looking body, which would span infinity and a spec of dust. It's maw were filled to the brim with knifelike teeth. The powerful jaws opened, allowing it to speak.
"Peace, I just don't like peace"
It's voice sounded of all slain in strife. The terrifying eyes of the beast now starred upon a new entity, you. The eyes burned with the glare of a thousand infernos.
"What have you commited to rack all that guilt of yours?"
Then the Beast dissolved into the air.
