I’m happy with mine, but I might need a little more description
Of course I’m happy with mine~! (´◠ω◠`)
I love Yuko, as she is an OC very near and dear to my heart. I’ve put a lot of work into developing her personality and piecing together her story over the years. She’s still not 100% complete, mind you; always finding something new to add to her.

I'm happy with some not so much with others...Here we go.
So I'm very pleased with Blaire, Etta, Matilda, Morpheus and Mirage. They're original and have good histories
But I'm afraid Gwen and Chelsea seem too generic, I don't know. Gwen is shy but she definitely has more to her, I'm just worried people will think she's not different enough or something.

((Gwen is nice as what I've seen on her, maybe you could make her original in her food tastes? She like tea or green tea...if you find her too generic, you could had something you find peculiar?

I'm a little unhappy with a few of my character, but for minor reasons I suppose.
Princess Genevieve - I feel like she lacks depth, and that's why people haven't really been all that interested in her...
Frankie - I think I made her too emo or her backstory is too intense because again, also people lack interest in her.
Nick - I think he's a little too shallow, not sure how to fix that...

I craft all my characters with love and care. Graynax is my fav though.
Unhappy:
Crow is still a bit of a WIP for me. I think it's because in a fan-genre, she has so much more going on with her, so much more depth (but wow is it dramatic as heckies). She's technically made for The Arcana (or a fantasy genre), but I just feel like I'm lacking with her and idk why honestly. Half-way debating recycling her page for a new character.
I love my baby Roman, he was actually the first ever character I made on RPR I think (or at least the first original), so I'm really apprehensive about letting him go, but he just doesn't click with me as much anymore? At least not as a character I'd want to RP on a regular basis. I'm thinking I might want to go in and change him...
???
Jeremiah is... I don't know? He just feels off to me as of very recently and I can't particularly pinpoint why...
Kitty doesn't get much attention and I'm thinking there has to be a reason why? I really like her though
Mmmmm yes good:
Tristain is my current favorite. I have yet to RP him much / at all, but as a concept, I'm really proud of him. I'm actually debating starting to build a world off of him / his concept at the moment*. I want to RP him more. </3
*I've been trying to force myself into building so I can get all / most of my fandom characters into some sense of originality, but forcing myself has produced ick... I'm bad at worldbuilding, but Trist has provided an odd epiphany of sorts, if that makes sense...

Most of them, but i'm a perfectionist so there's several newer ones i'd like to have more of a handle on and know more about.
That's sorta why i'm doing rps though, with characters I haven't played that much. To try to flesh them out more.
my main problem atm is motivation to write and develop stuff. I'm recovering from a pretty low episode but even before that I find working on characters to be a lot of work. the ideas are there in my brain, it's just getting them onto paper (so to speak) in a way that's coherent is haaaard.
Some of my ocs i'm enjoying more than others. I've had moments with a few where i've considered just abandoning them, giving up on the idea, but then I feel guilty.
I have reworked characters before, and it's something I will do again i'm sure. Things change and I change as a roleplayer. Things I thought were cool or cute 20 years ago just... aren't now, (i'm so old omg ahahaha) and my characters, like me, have grown up a lot.
I was quite pleased to get a chance recently to resurrect an old dead character of mine and actually get to develop him as a person and not effectively an npc and prop. Being able to properly flesh him out has been a lot of fun and I really love the character he's become. His backstory hasn't changed, but the way he interacts with the world has matured as my writing has and he is SO MUCH FUN to write.
Most of the characters I have bios for on this site though? they need fleshing out and the only way that's gonna happen is if I rp em.
And as it stands, only like.. two of them seem to inspire people to rp with me oops?
So I think I need to make the others a wee bit more interesting on paper, just to get some interested parties.
there's also a few who's concepts I quite like, but I just can't work out what SORT of rp they'd fit into or how to actually weave them into a story. They're a little too... specific. Bah

Iam happy with my characters, but I would really like to create more characters but recently I've just been too lazy to create profiles for them.
I want to add twin ocs and an angel oc to my character list. But so far I've been lacking the motivation to add any more characters.

I am happy with my character. I know I only have 1 character but I come to find that the character is all I need. I feel as though the responses my character takes and the actions thereof feel like they immerse me into the events of the roleplay. That being said I have made my character very general by description only to adapt and serve in any roleplay he takes apart in because in all actuality that is where I use him as a medium to express and react with emotions that I feel can add to the scene.
My only character had to be altered severely to meet the standards of the RP he is currently in. A lot of details are gone, because he was initially created for two settings (Forgotten Realms/Golarion), and general details were interchangeable and fit both of them. The current setting is radically different though, so for now he comes across as somewhat flat and generic, and I wish it wasn't so. He could've been better, and hopefully, given time, I will be able to introduce more details as the RP goes.
I have lots of other characters in the back of my head, but there is a good chance that the same will happen to them if I decide to bring them over here.

Definitely! That's the plan for sure. Maybe I'll be less lazy and work their profles like you did. :')
