Heyoooooooooooooo.
Don't let my casual and often silly ooc fool you.
Or let it, hey, I can't control myself, let alone strangers.
Point remains, I write with almost excessive detail (maybe I'm exaggerating, maybe not, how mysterious) and will grow bored very quickly if given short posts. It ain't always how it be, but it do, my dudes. I'm often guilty of describing new settings, and characters themselves, with a lot of detail to make my vision more clear. At least I really hope that's what I achieve but it's also possible I'm spewing a bunch of garbage. Maybe.
That being said, I suppose if you survived my back and forth randomness, maybe you're interested.
Should also warn that I can talk myself in circles in ooc, if you didn't already pick up on that.
We'll call it a....... feature.
To get things rolling, traits I'm looking for are:
- Partners that can vaguely match my length and pace, that being a couple paragraphs per reply minimum with longer posts on occasion per setting change or other necessity. I try to reply ASAP, but I'm not going to be hurt by not having a reply instantaneously. Life certainly happens and I can have occasional breaks of business where I need to do ADULT THINGS but I'll always try to offer a heads up.
- Partners who don't mind violence, graphic themes, language, etc. I'm not saying it's 100% going to happen but, given my past record of giving my characters really really REALLY bad days here and there, it's certainly a possibility. (all aboard the physical/mental/emotional pain train, right this way to the dining cab...) More so the language than anything else because trust me I have refrained from using profanity because it's part of my everyday vocab. But, that isn't usually the case with my characters, because I have a few with... very... colorful... vocab...
- As far as fandoms go, I like to reference the canon for general facts to add to immersion. That being said, though I also feel like I shouldn't really need to specify this, if you don't have knowledge on the fandom it's probably going to be a little difficult to get something rolling. I'm more than happy to debate over more skeptical findings or even derail from items that are vague in favor of replacements.
- I don't write plots and post them and look for people to play specific parts, that's not how I roll. I understand that's a very commonplace practice among roleplayers but it ain't my thang, dawg. I prefer to build worlds and ideas with my partners, get a general feel for our shared likes, and propose plots together to decide a starting point. I find it more fun to construct things as a team. All the same, I do have pre-constructed characters that might fit certain settings better, and I will likely list them later on.
- Romance. It's nice. Sometimes it can be a cute little cherry on top of a sundae of adventure and drama and excitement and sometimes the waiter comes to your table and says "Would you like cheese in this?" and you say "Yes of course" and the waiter says "Alright, say when" and then you never say when and the entire restaurant is drowned in cheese. To put it shortly, I like romance, I like to see characters blossom and develop feelings and affections and maybe end up together, maybe not, etc. But I don't like to start roleplays with pre-created characters made specifically with the idea in mind that they're going to end up together and everything's gonna be sunshine and lollipops.
- Idk maybe like cats or something, I added this bullet and then didn't really have anything in mind and didn't want to delete it. So, I guess, maybe tell me you think cats look cute wearing tophats so I know you read all of my drabble. Or don't, again, not your boss or nothin'.
Fandoms/genres I am interested in:
- Destiny
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Bioshock
- Assassin's Creed
- The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
- Pokemon (realistic style, gets daaaaaaark my dude)
- Fantasy: historical, medieval, high, modern, futuristic, steampunk, etc etc etc etcccccc
- Fantasy cont: I'm talking mermaids, werewolves, certain types of definitely not sparkly vampires and always with other creatures mixed in bc I get really bored with just vampires, dragons, magic-users, elves, made up races, futuristic made up planets/planet traveling/Star Wars but with way more free reign to create places/people/things, random creatures, etc etc etc e t c
There's only one character that I feel like throwing out there right now, and she would work in historical fantasy or modern fantasy. In short, she's a magic user/spellcaster who has lived for a few centuries through use of... darker magic, and the help of a dragon she soulbound herself with. (long story, he wasn't happy about it and still has a ton of snarky quips to throw at her) The idea with her primarily would be that she lived through several eras, adapting with them and fading away into obscurity as the years changed so as to not draw attention to the fact a human had lived so long without aging.
I'm specifically being vague with her and her dragon buddy because there's so much that can change per the situation. I'm mostly excited with her base idea and would be thrilled to toss her into a fitting scenario.
Aaaaaaaaand that's all folks.
I'm bad at these, I know, thanks, skip the pity applause, I've already sadly patted myself on the back.
If you're interested, have any questions, want to talk to me about how cute turtles are, feel free to post or PM!
And happy searching everyone!
