Kuro had already turned eighteen and was finally freed from living in the woods everyday, hiding from whatever creatures her master would send after her. She decided that she would try living a normal life style the best she could. She had gotten a job as a bartender at strip club, which every night she tried not to get sick seeing the other girls throw themselves away like they do. She hated the job but she got lucky her boss didn't try to get her to be one of the stirppers. She dyed her red bangs in her hair black so all her hair was the same, but her eyes never changed colors. She had lived on the streets for a few days until she finally got enough money to buy an apartment. She had work soon so she got ready. She put on the unifrom her boss said she was suppose to wear, which was a simple gray tanktop and black skinny jeans that were ripped up the sides. She went to the mirror in her room and what she saw was the image of herself when she was a kid with blood on her, along with a haunted and graved look. Kuro nearly screamed then looked away from the mirror. She looked back and image of her old self was gone. "I'm not that girl anymore, Wang Sakuranbo can't touch me anymore." She reminded herself before curling her hair for work, it only came in waves that looked good to her. She did a once over in the mirror before leaving for work. She went to work and dealt with having some of the guys hitting on her.

Nico grunted, then moved his hand to get the girl to come to him. "Can I get a beer ma'am?" Nico placed some gold on the table and pushed it to the girl. "So...whats a young looking girl like yourself working in this wasteland?"

Kuro brought the man his beer and shrugged. "It pays well, and once I can find a better job I'll quit." She sighed. She picked up the gold he put on the counter and raised an eyebrow at him. "Sir, the beer is only two dollars, not gold."

Nico smiled, then shrugged. "Find a decent job, girl." Nico left the beer on the counter without taking a sip then he walked outside, putting his hands into his pockets. "This place is no good for a kid like you."

Kuro shrugged and pocketed the gold coins since she had no clue how much it cost. She heard someone else call her and gave them what they requested.

She was outside the club, a thick jacket covering her toreso, protecting her form the cold as her boss locked up the joint. She sighed and puff of white air came out. She looked over at her boss to see him handing her a envople. She took it carefully and knew exactly what it was. Pay day. She nodded gratefully and walked home. She was shivering against the cold, hating that she had to be stuck in a pair of shorts.

Nico watched the girl walk home. You could possibly call him a stalker. Nico muttered, "Heads I talk.....Tails I stay," He flipped the gold coin in his pocket. "Tails."

Kuro could feel someone watching her but she just though she was parniod, it had only been a few months since she turned eighteen and was living on her own. She soon came to her apartment complex and went inside. She went to her room quickly and was relieved to see that Suta, her pet dragon was still there because she had a sinking feeling that he wouldn't.

"Maybe the girls dumber than I thought...wrong girl I guess? But......" Nico shook his head angrily. *Is this the right girl? Yes it has to be...* Nico, annoyed, walked to the girls door and knocked on it, then leaned against the hand rail that was across from the door waiting for someone to answer.

Kuro had just set her keys in a bowl on her nightstand in her room next to her bed when she heard a knock on the door. She nodded to Suta and he shifted into his human form. She went to the door and opened. She looked at the guy leaning on the handrail. She knew he was, he was the guy form the bar earlier. "Can I help you?"

Nico walked right into her house and looked in her kitchen. "Yes you can help me. First, tell your dragon to change back. He looked at the person then shook his head. Also. You got any food?" Nico opened her refrigerator and started looking for food.

Kuro was now irriated. "Excuse me? You have no rigiht to be in my home unless I let you in. Also, leave Suta out of this, he is my brother." That was a lie and she knew but no one could ever see past her lies, not even looking her dead in the eye. She walked to where the guy was going through her ferge and closed the door. "Unless you have a good reason for storming into my home, uninvited, I suggest you leave before I kick your ass out of here." Her voice was hard and cold as ice.

"Well, I've sortta been sent to assassinate you. So, if you dont mind can I have some food?" Nico said it casually and looked her straight in the eyes. "If I were you I would not think before you act, because im pretty good at reading minds." Nico looked at the dragon, "Got any food?"

Kuro glared at the guy. "If you are a assian then why would you come to my house and act so causally, like you know me?" She was ignoring his question on food. Suta just simply shrugged. "Dude, I'd be careful with her around, she has fighting expience like none other."

"Well, I having a hard time getting the guts to kill you. Theres something about you that makes me not want to bring your head to that guy who payed me. But if I dont kill you, he'll definately try." Nico said to the girl. Nico walked to Suta. "So, is there any food you guys have?"

"Who hired you?" Kuro asked, her gaurd still up. She had a chilling though that it might be her pyshcopath master.

Suta shrugged. "We got some food but you have to answer questions and get on her good side to get anything around here." He crashed down on the couch.

"Some crazy guy. Doubt you know him, though. Now give me food..." Nico walked to the armchair and sat in it. "Any other questions?"

"Is he Wang Sakuranbo? The sciencest?" She asked. She frowned at how this guy demand her to do something. "Be more careful with your words, never demand anything form me, you ask."

"Eh, something like that. Now. can i pleasehave some food?" Nico yawned looking around for a place to sleep.

Kuro sighed and quickly grabbed an egg roll out of the frige. She handed it to him. "Here, just so you'll shut up."
