Everyone else sending a message to ask for RP:

Me, sending a message to ask for RP:

I'll often just word vomit through the PM, read it five minutes later and go "I must sound NORMAL" and re-write the majority of it lmao

I think, for the bruh please, there's always going to be that moment where you backtrack and go "was I too myself in that message? .... Shit." Usually followed by sweating bullets for an undetermined amount of time, followed by a "too late to edit it now."
At least in my experience.
And those times when I'm too formal, yeah, the intimidation reaction is always what I seem to get. I think I need an 'inbetween' socializing phrase book.

Lol oh gosh, the "Was I too myself?" just hit me because YEP
Also, same. Most of the time I'm pretty informal, but there are those occasions where I go full on robot and have to backtrack like "How do human???" lol
Hmm, I never really thought of formal rp greetings as unique.
Guess, I just got into the habit of it since it's the norm around here.
