"Hey. How are you?"

“I’m okay, I guess?”

She shifted Ayla. "Here's our daughter."

“Oh... oh my gosh!” He finally realized where he was.

"Hye had to deliver the baby in the car."

“Hye?” He asked, disbelieving. “Can I hold baby?”

"Uh yeah. He woke up and he said you couldn't switch in panic mode. And this little one was very impatient to get here." Kiera nodded and let him take the baby. "Her name is Ayla."

“Ayla. That’s beautiful. A name fitting of our little girl.” He smiled.

"Yeah." She smiled.
Ayla woke up and stared up at him, starting to whimper.

“Aw, what’s wrong, baby?” Hyun Ki asked her.

"Tired probably, or just testing out her lungs?" Kiera suggested.
Ayla squirmed her arms and legs.

He nodded, watching her in wonderment.

"What were you calling her again?" Kiera asked softly and Ayla calmed down, cuddling into Hyun Ki's body

“Just ‘baby’. Simple and to the point.” He smiled.

"Yeah. Hye's been calling her 'Alien'"

He nodded. “I remember when our only friend’s parents started to call us that. They weren’t being mean, but it meant that they kind of adopted us in a sense. I see why he chose that nickname.”

"He said it was because it was an alien feeling to him, caring for her, I guess. And also he can't believe she's so cute."

“She is unbelievably cute.”

She laughed. "Ayla is very precious. I was terrified though, when I realized I was going to have to have her in the car."

“Did it worry you at all that it was Hye who had to deliver her?” Hyun Ki asked.
