Nikita smiled back and finished up her food.

Aylen finished his as well. "We should get some sleep right now. If the thunderstorm passes by overnight, we'll want to be well rested for tomorrow."

Nikita nodded. Then looked over at Jason to see him finish off his food as well and yawn.

"Allright big guy, bed time!" Aylen said.

Jason looked at Aylen like he was crazy. "What? I just woke up a few hours ago!"

"Don't play coy with me, I just saw you yawn!" Aylen said with a chuckle.

"What? That wasn't a yawn, that was.....a....." Jason knew he was beat and Nikita laughed. "Give up, we're going to sleep as well so there is no need to be up."

Aylen just laughed and got back under the blanket.

Jason puffed out his cheeks then huffed as he crawled under the blanket next to Nikita. She rolled her eyes, getting comfortable under the soft blanket.

Aylen wrapped his arm around her shoulder and cuddled her, then geve her a kiss on her lips. "G'night."

Nikita smiled up at Aylen and kissed his cheek. "Good night." She laid her head on his shoulder.

Aylen pulled her close, burrying his face in his neck. Then he slowly dozed off and fell asleep.
When he woke up, Aylen looked outside. "Nikita, the rain stopped!" he said whilst trying to wake her.

Nikita was still fast asleep and seemed to not wake up, her heartbeat was slowing down which wasn't good for a lioness, even if she was half humna her heartbeat was always faster than normal. Her breath came in shallower than usual and her eyelids weren't fluttering like they do while she slept.

"Hey, Nikita? Hello?"
Aylen got up from the makeshift bed and took her in his arms. "Nikita?" he asked again. He put his ear to her mouth and yes, there was a breathing. What's going on?

Jason woke and looked over at them. "What's wrong?" He asked, seeing the confused experssion on Aylen's face.

"She won't wake up..." Aylen replied. "Nikita?"

Now Jason looked worry. "D-did you check her heartrate? I know for anthros, if our heartrate gets to slow then that means somethings wrong..."

Aylen immediately checked it, and his eyes went wide. "It's indeed slowed down..."

Jason's eyes widen, concern in them. "This isn't good...." He had no clue what to do.

"What can we do?" Aylen was starting to panick now.
