Nikita nodded. "Of course not, if he was he wouldn't second in commad."

"Fair enough." he replied, and smiled.

Nikita nodded. "Yeah, it looks like there is some time to kill though, because some of the lions are out hunting right now."

Aylen looked at her in surprise. "This isn't the whole pack?"

Nikita shook her head. "No, there are about ten lions out hunting. There are about thirty eight lions in the pack."

"Oh, allright then." he said with a smile. He was intrigued. This was a rather large pack, as far as his knowledge on lions went.

Nikita nodded and picked up Zapharae who was still purring.

Aylen just smiled at the sight. "Did she even realize that I stopped petting him?"

Zapharae looked up at him with begging eyes that made Nikita laugh. "I think you gave yourself away, all the lions understand English, they just can't speak it."

Aylen smiled broadly. "Apparenty so!" he confirmed, and petted the lion again.

Zapharae started purring again as Nikita laughed again. "You wanna hold her?" She held the cub out to Aylen.

"Only if she wants me too." he replied, looking at the cub. "What do you think?" he asked Zapharae.

Zapharae jumped out of Nikita's hands and stood at Aylen's feet.

"I'll just take that as a yes!" Aylen picked up the cub and petted her in his arms.

"Well, well, looks you've got a little fan now." Nikita smiled, knowing that this was a good sign as to how well Aylen would fit in with the pack.

"I suppose I do." he replied.

Nikita smiled. "Alright, what do you want to before night time?"

"I don't really know what's to do around this time, so you can choose." he said with a smile.

Nikita thought for a moment and smiled. "There is a small lake not too far form here, we can go there if you want."

"Sounds good." he nodded. "Do you want to leave this one here, for now and just go with the two of us?"
