Nikita nodded, but didn't turn to look back at him. "YOu might as well tell me your name and want it is that you want."
"I'm Aylen,and i don't want anything specific. I'm just a traveller." He smiled broadly.
"I'm known as Nikita around here but some call me Nikky." She said as she countined to walk. "Also, I can sense that you have questions about me, and I'm amussing you haven't met another lioness human hybrid."
"Oh, but Ive met one before. I think it was a male. He wasn't very talkative, though." He chuckled. For a moment, Aylen just kept himself busy by 'feeling' nikita's feet touch the ground, and more delicate than the male version he'd once encountered, more... light and soft..."I like the way you walk." he blurted out.
The small comment caught Nikita off graud, but she kept strong. "It is like any other lioness' walk, but I guess it would have more of a human feel to it." She shrugged, simply a normal human jesture that is sometimes rare for her.
"It's more subtle and elegant than a woman's." He replied to her.
"What do you mean?" Nikita didn't understand what he meant, seeing that she was female but how could her walk be more elegant than a normal human woman?
"I can't really describe it..." he tried, "You'd almost have to feel it yourself. Let's just say it's softer and more light than a regular human's footstep."
"That is mainly because lions and lionesses have a gentler step that is quieter to not give away their location to their prey. Most humans are very noisy and don't try to be quiet, no offence to you."
"None taken," he replied. "I guess you are right."
Nikita countined forward, trying to trace her way to the pack or at least where she was captured at. "And yet I only spent a couple years of my life with humans." Her tailed flicked back and forth, annoied with the fact that her parents had choosen to keep her but give up her younge brother when he came back form being experimented on.
Aylen suddenly stopped. "Nikita, wait." he stomped the ground to send out vibrations in all directions, tracing them to double check what he thought he felt.
Nikita stopped addmitly after Aylen told her to. She strained her ears to try and hear for any signs of a threat. Her eyes kept open and searching but she trusted more in her hearing than her sight. Believe nothing of what you hear, and only half of what you see, but what you feel around you believe fully. She thought as she did a 360 swipe around her with her ears, floping them behind her head and back front.
"You won't be able to see or hear them." Aylen said as he noticed how she was looking around. "They're another kilometer to our front." He tensed up and concentrated to distinguish what they were. "Five humans... armed... Probably hunters..." He explained shortly, pausing in between words to gather the next piece of information.
Nikita nodded. Her nails slowly, quietly fromed back into her long sharp claws as well as did her fangs seemed to grow stronger. She slowly crouched down in a fighting posetion, readying for if they came after them. Her claws just barely touched the ground as her tail flicked in anpitation. Her puplis turned into thiner slits as a light growl as threating to escape her throat.
Aylen frowned. She was undoubtedly still the same Nikita, but her posture had changed so much that she almost shifted into another shape, to his perception. He took his bow back. "If we go slightly to the right from here and then straight ahead, we will end up behind them for a surprise attack."
Nikita nodded. "Lead the way." She said as she slowly got out of her crouching posetion. Her claws stayed, and her eyes did not change. The growl in her throat was pushed back. She looked back at Aylen. Though most people would worry that he would be at disavanage due to his lack of sight but she saw as a strenght.
Aylen shifted their course to the right for just a few degrees, just enough for them to end up at a safe distance behind the group. Soon enough, they got into a thick brush. As where most people would cut and hac their way through, Aylen got to hands and feet and went through the bushes at a remarkable speed for a human.
Th brush stretced out pretty long, and it wasn't long before Aylen realized the bandits were probably hiding in the same brush they were in now, or in an open speed amongst it. He finally came to a standstill and motioned form Nikita to stay quiet, then that they were a few meters to their left.

Nikita followed behind Aylen, keeping her ears open incase there might have been back up and somehow was able to move without either of them finding out. She was cauglating how long had Aylen had been blind, and judging by how well he was use to being sightless and how naturally it came to him to that it had been a long, long time. She could tell it wasn't born into him or his parents would have babied him about it and he wouldn't have been able to figure out his ablities with this new found talent.
She stopped when he did and nodded at his motion. She was ready for anything at this point. Her life as a true lioness had been more lay back than it would be though after her last battle for dimoness.

"Any course of action you prefer?" he whispered.
