Niikita though for a moment and thought she heard the whimper of another animal, she couldn't tell which. "Wait, listen." She said quiet as another almost silnet whimper was heard. She moveed in a little closer, trying to see if she could locate the scoure of the sound and the animal.
Aylen heard it too, but the hunters were moving around too much for him to make any clear distinguishment of man and animal. So he just proceeded in following Nikita to find out what it was.
Nikita looked around the small ground to see a small animal in a cage. It wasn't a small animal as in a monkey or anything like that but it seemed to look kinda like a human infant but with animal fur, unhuman ears on the top of it's head, and a sleak gray tail.
"What is it?" Aylen asked. "They're to busy moving around for me to make any note of what's really happening."
Nikita was silent for a moment, trying to figure out what the creature was. "I can't tell. It looks human and yet not. It has a human body but has fur everywhere on it's body, some kind of animal ears, and tail. The fur is gray, and the ears look likes something that I've never seen before." The ears on the strange animal looked as if they belonged to a chinchilla.
"Another anthro?" Aylen inquired.
Nikita shrugged. "I don't know. I knew there might have been another one around here but not one as young looking as this one. I'm going to try and see if I can get over to it's cage." She quietly move over to where she was behind the cage. She was looking at the creature's face and seeing it had few human feactures but with an animal muzzle. She tapped the bars and it's eyes flashed open and looked up at her. She pulled out a small pocket knife out of her jeans and slowly cut through the cheap metal bars.
Aylen lied down on his stomach, daggers in hand. This way, he could maximize his perception and was now able to follow the men's every movement. There were indeed 5, and they hadn't seen Nikita yet. Better be quick... I want t avoid a fight with this lot.
Nikita cut through the first bar and was about to start when the kid stopped her and somehow got through the small hole. She nodded for the kid to follow her as she went back to Aylen. The kid followed her and once they got back she said, "Let's get outta here."
Aylen nodded. "Sounds good to me."
Slowly but steadily, Aylen led the way away from the camp. When they were on safe distance and behind a minor cliff, he rose. "So, what do we have here?" he asked.

Nikita followed behind Aylen, the kid close behind her. She stood up when he did and held out a hand for the kid to help him stand but he was already up. He had big brown eyes that studied both Nikita and Aylen.
"I'm a anthor, chincilla is what they say the other half of me is." He said in a quiet tone, clearly scared of both of them even though they just saved him.

"Well then, litte chinchilla, do you have a name?" Aylen asked.
"Jason." He said, his voice never reaching above a whipster. He kept looked back up at Nikita, surprised to see her as another anthor.
Her tailed flicked to one side as she studied Jason. "What are you doing here? Chincillas live up in mountains, such as the Andes, but this is the Amazon Rainforest. Did they bring you here?" She couldn't help but wonder why he was here and how the hunters caught him.
"Yes, they brought me here. I was peacefully living in the mountains when they caught me. They wanted to catch a lion and then go back to where they came form." He said, heistant to give Nikita the information she asked for.

"Well then," Aylen replied. "No need to worry anymore." He thought for a moment. "Do you want to go back to you home?"
Jason just shrugged. "It's not like anyone knew who I was back there..." He mumbled. Nikita couldn't help but feel sorry for him. She patted his head, making him look up at her. "It's alright, kid. You can stay with me, unless you rather go somewhere on your own." Jason's eyes widen but then he smiled brightly at Nikita and hugged her. She was caught off gruad by the sudden sign of affection and stumbled a little.
Aylen laughed. He didn't understand what was happening at first, in his perception Jason had suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth, but when he suddenly sensed that Nikita's weight increased, she could guess where the young anthro had jumped to.
Nikita sighed and patted his head again, not knowing how to react to this. She was glad when he let go of her.
Aylen grinned. "Well then, where shall we go next?"
"We should go and try to find my pack. Its going to be dark soon." Nikita looked up at the sky to see the sun was not far form the horizan.
"Is it far yet?" He asked? He might not be able to see the sun or its stance, but he was able to feel the temperature dropping quickly as an indication of nightfall.
