Nikita always kept to herself, never letting anyone in was just who she was. She didn't close her eyes but she slowed her breathing and heart rate to make it seem she had fallen asleep.
The Walker (played by Freyya)

Aylen reached out to sense Nikita again. Her heart rate and breathing slowed down, so he he assumed she'd fallen asleep. He rose and walked outside to get some fresh air. When he got back, he took a blanket from his pck and covered the her with it.
"Feel free to crawl under it next to her," he said to Jason, and sat down again.

Nikita kept her eyes open and watched Aylen carefully, wonderin what was his movetaties to all this. Why did he want to stay with her earlier? Why is he being nice to her when she wouldn't answer to him? Jason knew she was awake but didn't say anything.
The Walker (played by Freyya)

Aylen sat down again next to Nikita and closed his eyes. He breathed in the air and warmed his hands by the small fir they'd made in the little cave. He felt at peace, for some reason. whch hadn't happened for a long time.

Nikita watched Aylen, then slowly put her hands over his, trying to help warm them up. Due to her thick layer of fur, her whole body is much warmer than most human's; where her long scar is is the only place that she is missing fur and let's cold come into her body.

Aylen just smiled when he felt her hands cover his "I thought you might still be awake." He said softly.

Nikita rolled her eyes. "Sure you did." She said with a small smile.
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"I said might." he replied. "I wasn't sure." he smiled nonetheless.

"You might be able to see like anyone else, but you are easy to trick. Never thought to think if my eyes were open." Nikita teased.
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"I'm not thát good!" he said, smiling.

Nikita gave Aylen a look that said "C'mon." She simply sighed. "How many humans can feel someone else's heartbeat to tell what is wrong?"
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"Your eyelids don't beat to give away their movement." he chuckled.

"But it takes two movements to blink. Only one to close your eyes. I didn't close my eyes so if you were paying closer attention, you would've been able to tell that my eyes were moving." She said quietly, noticing that Jason had fallen asleep.
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"Wouldn't it be crepy to you if I started playing such close attention to little things like that?" he inquired.

Nikita thought about that for a moment then nodded. "Yes, it would be."
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"Well then?" he smiled.

Nikita shrugged with one shoulder. "You still have better sight than those who actually can see with their eyes."
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"Not necessarily." he replied. "I can 'seee' most movements better and from farther away, yes. But I can't always catch details, and when a surrounding gets crowded, I need to shorten my view to a small circle around me to prevent my mind from overloading." he chuckled.

"But you can still focus on one person better than most can with seeing. Sight is one of most used senses and without it, you were given a whole new talent. Most achors can't hit food out of someone's hand without hitting the person's hand."
The Walker (played by Freyya)

"that is certainly true." he replied.
