Nikita nodded. "Alright, see ya." And she was gone. She was a exllecent hunter. She saw her prey and began to hunt. There was a flock of zebras and she was in a crouched posetion, hiding in the tall grass, slowly creeping over to them.

Aylen circled around the same pack. He didn't notice Nikita at first, since he had decreased his field of perception due to the rain. however, at a certain point he felt his vibrations hit Nikita's body. He smiled and circled a bit farther north.
When he got in position, he put an arrow on the string and rose from his place slowly, aiming at the closest zebra. He let go of the arrow, and it flew in the zebra's flank with ease, through the ribs and into the heart, killing it straight away. the zebra's ran off in the other direction, straight towards the awaiting claws of Nikita. "That'sll do..." he murmured as he went over to the zebra.

Nikita smiled as she watched the zebras come closer to her. She attacked the biggest one that happened to be the closest. She dug her claws into it's neck, holding on as it tried to knock her off. She bit down into it's neck, right on the windpipe. She litarely ripped the zebras windpipe out of it's throat. The zebra fell to the ground, dead. She stood up, licking the blood off her lips.

Aylen quickly skinned the Zebra and collected as much usable meat he could find, cutting off as much meat as possible. He then walked back to find Nikita at the zebra. "Allow me," he said before cutting off an equal amount. "We should be good with these to sit out an entire week." he said, as he slung the meat over his shoulder. "Let's go back before the storm sets in."

Nikita nodded, wipping some bloond off her fur the best she could with the back of her hand. "Yeah. Lead the way." She pulled her claws back in, turning them into simple sharp nails.

Aylen walked back in the direction they came, and just as the rain started to increase in ferocity, they made it inside. He threw the meat into the farthest corner of the cave after taking one piece and starting to roast it on the fire.

Nikita followed beside Aylen, for some reason she kept quiet, but there was no sign that something was bothering her. Once they got inside she sat down by the fire.

"Are you allright?" Aylen asked. "You haven't said anything since we finished hunting."

Nikita shrugged. "Just really haven't felt like speaking, don't know why."

"You'll be allright, right?" he asked, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Nikita nodded. "Yeah."

"Good." he smiled warmly at her before he sat down again.

Nikita smiled back at Aylen. "I guess."

It wasn't much later that the downpour reached them. Thunder rolled through the sky and a flash of lighting suddenly bathed everything outside in a short, but bright white light. Aylen flinched at the sound, for of course he didn't see it coming.

Nikita flinched as well, she was going to wait till both Jason and Aylen were asleep to deal with strom she does. She usually curls up into a ball, her hands covering her ears form the sounds of thunder and flashing of lighting outside. She had many horrible memories of thunder storms.

Aylen felt another shudder going through Nikita, same as when they first mentioned lightning. "Are you allright?"

Nikita nodded quickly. "Yeah.... I just don't like thunder storms." She swallowed down a choking sob in her throat.

Aylen felt it. "Get over here." He simply said, holding up the blanket for her to crawl under next to him.

Nikita looked up at Aylen and crawled under the blanket next to him. "Thanks..." She mumbled.

Aylen just smiled and wrapped the blanket around them, putting an arm over her shoulders. "Don't mention it." He smiled at her and relaxed into the cave wall.
