Hi all! I am in desperate need of assistance from the Rpr hive mind! My problem is this, I like music but I cannot for the life of me tell you the name of the song I am humming or who sings it. I am just...the worst, but I'd really like to find some songs that suit my more active characters, to help round out their character pages and give them a little more depth. I would like you to help me with in this endeavor! You! Yes, you!

The characters most in need of a little musical backstory are Cadence and Neriah. If you want to take it upon yourself to check out my other characters and make suggestions, by all means, I won't stop you, but these are the two I'd like to focus on. If you'd like more details about the characters or have any questions, feel free to ask!

I like Hopeless Wanderer for Neriah. I feel that's a good fit.

And actually, Meet Me on the Battlefield works really well for my dwarf character, so I'm gonna put that there instead.

I stopped using it a while back so I'm not super sure if it's still as it was, but maybe try 8tracks? There's tons of fan made playlists based on shows/books/characters etc on there so if you think one of your characters fits a similar theme that might work, otherwise you can plug in keywords and see what comes up.

I don't know if these will appeal to you, but for Cadence try Waves and for Neriah try My Domain.

Even though I'm #Spotify all the way, you can use a Google Account to access Google Play via your browser, which will suggest very similar artists and sounds and even create radios on them with a medley of similar groups and themes. It's fantastic for discovering new music.

Also thanks to Fiebs and Rat for the research suggestions. I'll definitely be looking into that.

I'd personally suggest Playmoss over 8tracks; Recently 8tracks went under primary payment type rules and so listening time is limited; While it's certainly a great site, most definitely! Playmoss is a great alternative, and I personally use it. It has some primary payment things, but it's not as... obnoxious? as 8tracks's rules.
