"I knew it I arrested you" he presses a button on his comm

I groan knowing if he radios in I'm busted "yea I'm out 5 years servied was let out early with no conditions I'm free living with a friend for now " I said to him hoping my lie works

man: "what friend"

I think fast "my friend bethany her and dad's took me in tell I can find a home" I said to him

he stares at her for a while a look of indecision on his face

"I don't believe you but ill let you go this once"

Ik if he was to call in asking he would hear it "yea though I walk around alot change after 5 years" I said.kinda moving bag with cell and card in it

"go before I change my mind and don't let me see you again without proof"

I walk down the street think that was close way to close she had to get home

after a while the officer finally comes back and takes his shift again

After a few miss turns I ended up back at the house and quickly step in and went to my room hiding my cell phone

after 20 minutes he pulls up to the house

I went down stairs hearing the front door "oh hey your home how's work" I said smiling

"boring as usual"

I smiled "better then being stick in house" I said to him grabbing a plate of left over

"true"

I smiled I micowave my food and sat at the table "oh there is a letter address to me from the court" I said to him worried if it was a summon for navy preformce I gave.

hre grabs it and opens it

I watch him open it eating my food "what is it" I ask him

he starts to read the letter
