That bleed effect is nasty. TT n TT How does one even get rid of it?

Just gotta way, unfortunately. It takes a few turns to go away.

You have to ride it out. Bleed lasts for three rounds after the one it proc'd on.

unfortunately the pirates have a nasty tendency to keep applying it

I guess that's why it feels like it never goes away.

the only deaths i've had were against pirates, which should say something

what causes bleed is that they essentially have two attacks each round

one's a basic damage attack, and the other rolls to see if you'll also be hit with a bleed

if their secondary shot attack hits you, then you'll get a three-round bleed
