He had been in your father's court as long as you could remember: a mysterious wanderer from an antique land, distant and quiet and stoic. It doesn't seem like he has aged a day in all your life. He rarely speaks to anyone except for your father, and no one knows his real name: his grim moniker is "the Hanged Man," though its origin is a mystery. Behind his back the court mockingly calls him Sir Nobody.
After a recent attempt on your life, for you are the only heir to your father's holdings, your father has appointed the stranger to be your personal guard. Now you can't escape him. He's there when you eat, when you dress, when you ride your horse and attend your studies. His quarters are right next to yours, so even in sleep you can't escape him. And yet, as you learn more about him, he doesn't seem so bad ...
What secrets will you learn about the strange knight? What's keeping him here, when he acts so distant? Will you develop a friendship, or even feelings for him? And if the assassin tries again, will he be able to save you ... ?
I'm looking for a player for the second person viewpoint in this prompt! (The RP will take place in third person perspective, however.) Ideally this character will be a fairly young (between 14 and 20) person of noble or royal birth. They're an only child and heir to some great fortune: money and land, maybe even a kingdom if you want to play a prince/princess. The setting is low fantasy medieval realism. If your character is magical, I'd prefer their abilities to be untapped or subtle somehow. It might be cute if your character develops a crush on Hangman though it'd almost certainly be unrequited.
I am absolutely willing to make this a group RP! Other players could fill the roles of members of the court, the father, a villain, etc. I do have a couple of plot ideas beyond just this opener, so it has some direction. I'm also fine with tweaking the prompt and discussing more details over PM. If you're interested, just let me know.

I was thinking of playing Blaise as a member of the court, not necessarily the villain but staying fairly neutral and helping both sides of the conflict depending on which benefits him most.
