The best place to start I suppose is to say ‘hello.’ So, to all who wish for the greeting, a redundant but heartfelt hello to you. Adding a most accurate if self deprecating caution that I am an awkward soul who has a hard time communicating on a personal level with new people. Though with no less a desire to be friendly. I will state right now that I swear in RP, and in RL, and over text. If that isn’t something you like you must speak up or I’ll never know to tone it down when speaking with you. With that out of the way…
I play a lot of characters, from male to female from ‘good’ to ‘bad’ (The debate of aliment being so black and white one best saved for another time.) From prince charming to the pillaging half-demon. This being said it is of my personal opinion that drama belongs in RP but not in real life, avoiding it as one might desire to avoid plague. And that what is most important in roleplay is respect of players, their creations and the lines others wish to draw for their own comfort. (It is always better to ask permission than to deal with a crying friend.)
It has been pointed out to me, on numerous and repeated occasions that I happen to be exceptionally cruel to my own characters (I would never seek to push this same behavior on unwilling participants AKA other writers) from psychological torment to physical, or just simply having a s***y hand dealt to them in life. His, however correct, is not random but planned events as while I do play anything and everything my favorite setting for RP is grim-dark low fantasy. Where magic stems from a place of pain and comes with a price you might not be willing to pay.
I spend a lot of time planning, plotting and working out ways to include any and all into stories so that things are coherent and consistent while still being fun for those I play with (doing my personal best to include others in the process of weaving a story we can all be happy with,) respecting that others might not desire to be part of this process. My personal axis mundi of story coming from the idea that while characters need not be predictable they should be written as if what has happened in their lives has an actual effect upon who they grow to become. Perhaps I am grumpy, perhaps I simply desire continuity. At any rate, my mantra boils down to the simple phrase ‘Story is most important.’
If any wish to play with me I promise OOC I don’t bite, one however could promise anything about their personality but it is only time and interaction that reveals the truth. If sending a message to game, no matter how long it takes for me to answer, I will do my best. I work long hours so it is sometimes difficult to get to hobbies. (As such it may take a while to get my past characters up onto this site.)
For any wishing to contact on Skype the name you would be looking for is Kruhee ‘ (Though if you do it would be appreciated to say you are from RPR to cut down on confusion, thanks.)
Anyway, thank you for the warm welcome and I apologize for the word wall. It is an honor to be here and a privilege to meet new people to write with. Happy gaming!

Welcome, Kruhee.
As another writer who can be cruel to their creations, I fully recognize that impulse and respect it.

Thank you kindly for the warm words of welcome. As far as RP goes I do like just about all things, Though as stated my most desired and beloved setting would be grim-dark low fantasy. But Historical Occult and Mod-Fan are a close and contested second. Favoring more to writing that highlights the decisions of characters that might twist who they they thought they were as a person. (Homage to the repeated insistence of some people that I am truly all around cruel to my own characters.) And enjoying the darker side of horror and Victorian style monsters (be they beast of of mortal design.)
I tend not to play romance often, if only due to the RL drama it has caused in the past, (once bitten twice shy) bringing me to be very picky about who such things happen with, and perhaps equally as important what characters delve into such happenings (Though I feel the need to add that should it feel natural and unravel in a scene to lead down romantic pathways it is not without heavy consideration to the aforementioned categories.) That is to say, writing romance is like a grocery store, you go in for eggs and come out with butter lettuce.
All that said, if any of this interests you please let me know. As you might be able to see from the characters I currently have up I like to play equally male and female faces. I may seem a touch cold but truthfully I do love making new friends and finding others with similar enthusiasm when it comes to creating story.
Whooooaaaaaa, you type so much! It's fresh! I'm into it!
Hi! My name's Kolas and I'll be the next member of your welcoming committee! Super glad that you're into fantasy because that's my favorite genre too, even if I don't normally go grimdark. But I'm most certainly willing.

Welcome to the RPRepository message boards!
My name is OG, but everyone here just calls me Gamemaster (GM), and I have been involved in online text-based RPG's for over 20 years. I am best known for playing the roles of Thraen Valour, Vygoren Calygarn, Faedkynn Hylorra, Allaran Darkbane and many others. I'm right now currently involved in the Kingdom of Ash (Fantasy RP) collaborative story: you can access the OOC thread here @ https://www.rprepository.com/community/forumthread.php?t=52720&p=23 RayneLillac (Carmen Ashdown) is the GM for this story. It takes place in 860 CE during a time of turmoil. We are always recruiting new players to join us, and we have a plethora of races and kingdoms to choose from. So if you like medieval darkages epic high fantasy RPG's involving humans, dwarves, mages, drows, lycans, etc. Then come join us at the Kingdom of Ash - you won't regret it!

Warm greetings Kolas! Nice to meet you!
Yeeeah, I'm a touch of a blabber mouth lol and I most certainly will take you up on that don't worry, grim may be my favorite but that doesn't mean it's my only. There's a happy middle ground to fantasy there where we could meet.

Thank you so much Kim, currently I do not have any questions, but if I do I will be sure to let you know. This is not my first time on a writing site but it is my first experience with fourm type posting, I am sure there will be a few at some point
