I'm searching up to four players interested in a zombie survival RPG, with use of simple character sheets and dices.
I'll be the DM and narrator.
The game :
We will be playing a survival rpg game rythmed by random events -they are not totally random, I choose the one I think fits the best- going from a weapon jam to a horde. Here, death is totally a part of the game, it's not recommended to bond too much with your characters. I will be using a d20 to determine the outcome of some actions (some other will be automaticaly successful or automaticaly failed, depending on your character and the situation).
Your characters will have sheets with an array of 7 abilities (Strenght, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma and Luck) and about 30 skills. Tho don't be afraid the system is actually extremely simple. I'll roll the dices and only tell you the results (because the storytelling might need some fundging).
A bit on the space/time context :
The action takes place in the fictionnal city of Portswear. It's basically New-York, but not on the seaside.
The year is 2038. Beside the new cleaner and more efficient thorium reactors and better prosthetics, civilian technology didn't advanced much since now, but the army has some energy weapons, known as TEST (Totaly Electrical Slug Thrower), EAST (Electricaly Assisted Slug Thrower) or FEW (Focused Energy Weapon). Its rail guns, gauss rifles, laser rifles, plasma canons, magnetic assisted riffle, smart guns and so on. There is also some military grade cybernetic limbs, but because of the definitive nature of a cybernetic remplacement, their usage is extremely rare.
The plot :
Game starts at the morning of the first day after the End.
Less than 72h before, the world became suddenly crazy, peoples killing others in hordes down in the streets, army unsuccessfully trying to stop feelingless corpses, all that.
Yesterday, late in the evening, the last governement communication stopped.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
