Hello, I've been kind of bored so I'm looking to start RPing again. I've been RPing for several years, but I've never done it on a forum before. I usually roleplayed in MMOs, mainly WoW, but I recently canceled my subscription to the game, so I need to find somewhere else to RP. I'm mainly interested in medieval fantasy settings, but I'm also into scifi stuff, and I'm willing to RP in a modern setting if the story is interesting enough. Other than that, I'm not really looking for anything specific. I'm fine with both brief interactions and long, complex storylines. It'd also be cool to make some friends. I don't really have any characters yet because I'm new to this, and I haven't joined any groups, but I could quickly create one by drawing inspiration from characters that I've used in the past. I also think that I'm pretty good at coming up with ideas for characters and stories and whatnot.

My advice, create some content. Make some characters, throw up some plots, and show people the sort of stuff that interests you. Your creativity will draw like-minded folks and make it easier to find good writing partners.
A ton of people want to do 'something'. It's that initial spark of an idea that a story needs to really come to life. Provide those sparks and you'll have an easier time drawing interest.
Also, check out the Roleplay Wanted forums and pursue people's ideas that interest you. It takes a little work to find someone to write with, but it's worth it.

Hello and welcome! Something to add to your getting to know you section would be what your favorite color is! I myself prefer blues and greens but a nice bright red will always be appreciated!
