Hey guys, so I fractured my knee yesterday, which means I'm gonna be laid up for a couple months. I figured that now would be a great time to catch up on tv and movies, so I'm looking for a some suggestions.
Currently some of my favorites are Supernatural, GoT, Startrek (all of them), Marvel's Defenders and the other other Marvel shows on Netflix. Oh and Riverdale - I am so addicted to this show and dying for the next episode to come out.
So what are you guys watching right now? Or what are your favorite shows?

River Monsters if you've got it.
The Anthony Bourdain shows are good if you like journalism mixed with your food.

I can't wait to get my paws on season 2!
Alright, here we go. Are you ready to release the beast?!
Leverage - I will never get tired of watching this show. It has a conclusion that flows and makes sense! Also, the character development is just...unnnhhhh.... Yes, I derive sexual pleasure from amazing character development. This is an rp forum. You don't get to judge me!
Lemony Snickett's A Series of Unfortunate Events - They just put out the second season of this. Still one season to go, but it's still excellent and worth catching up on.
M.A.S.H.- All the seasons, because Alan Alda is a god. An oldy but a goody.
Charmed - Another oldy but a goody (though not quite so old). If you like Supernatural, Charmed is essentially Supernatural, but with chicks instead of dudes and less grim dark apocalypse.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Old and new. Old is great but the new ones are really really good too. I have rewatched them a ton and still find jokes to laugh at that I missed the first three watch throughs.
Person of Interest - Let's talk character development again! Cause oh yes, hun, yes...
Voltron - The new one on Netflix. It's genuinely really good. I was shocked.
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Oh god, all the feels. All of them.
I'm sure I could think of more but this is what I got for ya so far. Enjoy and get better soon!

So, this list might get long -lol-
Dndmama said Leverage - I highly recommend this! I love this show, watched it about 6 times through and still not tired of it.
Sense8 - If you have Netflix, and it sounds like you do. You absolutely need to watch this show. It's amazing. It was unfortunately canceled but it wasn't because of popularity, it was because of production costs. They film in the US, Iceland (I think it's iceland), Africa, Korea, Germany, Mexico, and India. Because of the set up, some of the actors are shipped from one country to another and back again, and it's just insanely authentic and really cool
Lethal Weapon - I loved the movies, and I love the TV show. It's buddy cop and really funny
Lucifer - Yup, the Devil is on Earth. He's hanging in LA, he quit Hell, and he starts to work with a detective. A very funny show. My wife and I love it. It's also very clever. They like to make you think they're going to zig, when they actually zag. It's surprisingly unpredictable at times and I love it.
Lost - If you've not seen lost, you should really watch it. It's a much better show than a lot of people give it credit for. Hit me up if you watch it and the ending confuses you. I followed the show completely and it made sense to me, but I guess it threw a lot of people off. I recently explained it to a mate (who hated the ending because he didn't understand it), and now he's watching it all over again because now he understands the ending, the show just skyrocketed in his eyes lol.
Arrow / Flash / Legends of Tomorrow - Look up an episode order for these ones. Arrow does take a little bit to get into, but stick at it and it will draw you in. There's something like 2 seasons of Arrow you need to watch first, then Arrow and Flash run along side each other for Arrow season 3 and Flash season 1, then Legends of Tomorrow join in and runs with them too. Oh, and Supergirl, but I didn't really get into that one as much. It's entertaining though. And they do a multi-show, multi episode cross over each season too. And minor crossovers each season as well.
Luther - British show. Very few episodes because British TV blows and anything that's actually good only gets a handful of episodes per season, but crap like soaps are on every day for years on end. It's a pretty gritty detective show, and has Idris Elba in, who is a fantastic actor I think.
Sherlock Holmes - With Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Really good show. Funny and clever.
Stranger Things - Very 80s flavour, and very very good. It has an old school sci fi feel about it.
Firefly (and then the movie Serenity) - If you like sci fi, you owe it to yourself to check out Firefly. It's like a space meets wild west. Very very cool show that should never have been canceled (curse you Fox)
Dark Matter - Another great sci fi show. This one kind of had elements that reminded me of Firefly. It's a bit corny to be honest, but it can be really funny and surprisingly gritty at times too.
Raising Hope - This is a comedy and a really good one. It's not one of these shows that picks up in intensity, it remains very light for all of its seasons. A great show to just chill out and relax to
An Idiot Abroad - So this is more documentary, but in a really different way. Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant send a mate of theirs named Karl Pilkington to different places around the world. Karl Pilkington is the idiot. He's really not a very clever man, and he can come across startlingly ignorant, but I'm sure the man doesn't have a mean bone in his body... he is literally an idiot. They put him into some really quite mean situations. but it's very very funny. There's not many episodes of this.
Sons of Anarchy - Pretty brutal show. I've not seen every episode from beginning to end, but it's really good. Very brutal, very gritty, very mature. It's a really good show though
The Booth At The End - This show is... well it's unique, but so good because of it. It's very low key and I wish there was more. I'm not even sure if you can find this one anymore, but if you can you really should give it a shot. It's not high action or anything like that. It's about a man who sits in a booth, and people come to him because they've heard that he can help them get something they want, and he can, by telling them that they need to do a certain something (that he tells them after looking in some special book) and asks them to come back on a daily basis (I think) and tell him about it.
Sometimes he tells them to do something bad, other times he tells them to do something good, but ultimately, it's the person's choice to carry out the action, and he makes it clear, they don't -have- to do this, that what they want is still achievable, but if they do what he's told them to, they will get what they want.
This show doesn't leave the booth, it's all narrative through dialogue and I think it worked incredibly well.
I'm sure I have more, but it's 5am, and I've been up all night, so I think my brain might be a little closed off lol.

I feel so kiddy-like just reading all the shows you guys watch.
@Dndmama - I LOVE M*A*S*H and Charmed; grew up watching both of these. I love NPH but haven't actually watched Series of Unfortunate events yet, I'm going to have to check it out
@Valestorm - Huge Firefly fan over here, actually have a firefly group rp on the go at the moment with Dndmama and a few others on this site^^. I thoroughly enjoyed Stranger Things - the Sheriff and Elle broke my frigging heart, I love their bond. As for the I've heard great things about all of those shows, except for An Idiot Abroad, and The Booth at the End; I've never heard of them but they sound interesting
semi-relevant Hawkeye meme

An Idiot Abroad is fantastic. Karl is not nearly as much of an idiot as he seems. If you give it a try and like it, give
The Moaning of Life a shot. It's Karl traveling again on his own, without Ricky and Steve winding him up the whole time and he actually enjoys himself on occasion. Each episode is about a concept, like marriage, happiness, death, etc. He goes to various countries to learn more about how each culture behaves around those concepts differently. And has his typical Karl Pilkington attitude about it all.
Also, The Expanse. Best Sci Fi around right now, just started season 3.
