I'm glad you like my ideas, I've taken them for the most part from other little projects I'm working on, so that's good news. As for which one you pick I'm quite happy with any of them, so I don't mind too much on that front.

As for the mixing of the third with the first, it could work if the one pulling the strings of the group was agents of the Mechanus, or other similar reasons.

So now it's up to the rest of the group to see what they like or if they want to go down a different direction.

Okay it’s a game that uses the player to kill people right? So what if there’s a local gaming competition and the people don’t know that they’re actually killing critics,fired employees,etc.

But, an ex employee or a rival game designer came to snoop on the competition’s game. What he didn’t know was a fatal mistake, because the Big company had him on the list of people to kill that day. So a drone being showcased spots him and murders him on the spot, the company says the drone malfunctions but someone (Your character) doesn’t buy it. They then hire or find a crew to get to the bottom of it and bring down the company, but their journeys are no simple task.

The crew must fight and gather intel, they must earn the trust of certain groups to infiltrate or gather intel.

Couldn't we just be trapped in a hyper advanced videogame. We would be trapped because of some sort of glitch, then we try to find our way out.

@Theo I figured that might be the case. If you decide you want to retake your ideas and not include them in this rp we could shift the story accordingly.

@Jason I could see that bringing some people to investigate, though I'm not sure it would be enough to pique the interest of the villains unless they were already working for the rival group. Which I could very easily have my character do, but I'm not sure about the others. Alternately if you're thinking you want that position for your character we could tie the two together somehow.

@8-Ball In other circumstances I'd say yes, just to get a clean start, but I don't think a lot of these characters would necessarily play video games across the board. Ria could, as could my other characters but I have my doubts others' characters would. That said, I could see some of them meeting and getting to know each other through the video game that inevitably trapped them and made them unknowingly murder other folks, thinking everything was fine.

On the thought of working out how to tie a lot of the plots together, most of them could be tied to a central plot of the Mechanus with the Tri-Abol attempting to use each of these different groups to destabilize the city. Since most of the plots so far are tech related I could see all of them being viable options they or their collaborators would take. It could also allow the plot to slowly build up towards facing the full threat with small numbers of the Mechanus true operative turning up very occasionally. If people are fine with it that it.

Well, Ez would definitely not play video games...he's too busy for that, I suppose

Well, it looks like we might have something then. An urban sci fi setting featuring some ne'erdowells, some civilians and a massive faction of bugs gearing up to take over the world.

I'll be cooking up an OP. Last call for alternate ideas.

I see there are already a lot of people interested however if you have room I shall raise my hand, I just brought character slots and I've had an idea of a bit of a cheeky hacker girl for a while I just havent gotten around to it, alternatively I have Nolan also who I've been eager to play.

I have one last question for you guys. When I post the OP, would you prefer it be in a group PM or in the sci fi forums? I was hoping to put it in the public forums but with the characters we have I think it would be easier to do PMs. Just because it allows more liberties with writing and less concerns about censoring oneself.

Edit: Alternately, I could make an rp group and add you guys so that we can edit our stuff after posting it without worrying about time constraints and you also don't have to worry about censoring your characters.

I'm happy to play in either, I will adapt for both although with the current designs that I have I don't think much will change on the move either way.

I vote for group, as it takes the best of both worlds.
