Empire Name: The Tri-Abol Mechanus
Planets(Territory):
Home System - Tri-mechanics: 5 planets
Tri-Astera - Homeplanet and Citadel class world
Tri-Morda - Hive class world
Tri-Adera - Swarm class world
Tri-Kalesa - Hive class world
Tri- Saren - Factory class world
Manta System: 3 planets
Manta-Feras - Citadel class world
Manta-Quor - Hive class world
Manta- Jires - Factory class world
Quas System: 3 planets
Quas-Slias - Citadel class world
Quas-Nadar - Hive class world
Quas Syl - Swarm class planet
World classes- Citadel is the capital of the system and from which the Tri-Abol Mechanus control their operations. usually with only one or two heavily defended spire cities. Hive is the next class and most commonly seen as the living quarters of the Mechanus. Home to dozens of spire cities which protrude from the planets like infections. Factory class worlds are entire worlds dedicated to the production of machines, the lifeblood of the Mechanus. The only living things on these polluted worlds are Tri-Abol, encased in protective suits. The final and rarest type is the Swarm class, the staging base of the Tri-Abol fleets.
Fleet:
Named ships:
The Tri-Astares - flagship of the entire Mechanus and a Converter class (Dreadnaught)
The Manta-Astares - Dreadnaught in control of protecting the Manta system
The Quas-Astares - Dreadnaught in control of protecting the Quas system
10xHive Beasts - Gigantic ships which carry in their belly full compliments of Tri-Abol ground forces, each one a miniature space locked factory.
20xSwarmers - Smaller ships ready for space combat, usually 2 escorting a single Hive Beast - they carry with them massive numbers of fighters and heavy ordinance. Able to hold their own in a fight but require the swarms of fighters to win them.
2xCorruptor - Massive single entities which go from planet to planet setting up factories and corrupting their atmospheres before moving on.
Empire Strengths:
The Mechanus have incredible robotics technology, with roughly 60% of their population being AI in nature. As such they are able to exist on nearly every planet regardless of the conditions since once the factories are there they will begin churning out machines. As a result, they are a group that is hard to stamp out, with countless machines burrowing all over the surface of every planet. The Mechanus also has most of its high level AI, paticularly those that contol the most important of affairs interlinked so that every machine knows what happens to each other and so can react accordingly to changes.
Empire Weaknesses:
The insectoid Tri Abol themselves are very physically inferior to most other space-faring species, to the point where many would simply die without protective suits. Considering the are entirely reliant for expansion on the corrupters who take a long time to convert worlds to Mechanus needs they expand extremely slowly. The Tri-Abol violently oppose genetic manipulation so have created both a major eradication of this but also suffer large black markets in return, trading in genetic upgrades for boons on the massive underbellies of the spire cities

"We would greatly appreciate that. We shall gladly exchange in this information." they said.
Finding the channel to redirect Isaiah to Councilor Ulyre. The leader of the Cogniut was at the front of the communication panel, already focused on the psionic message sender with the rest of the Council in the background.
"Doctor Ghyt informed me you wish to form an alliance with us." they said.
Isaiah was somewhat taken aback. "An alliance at this time may be presumptious," he cautioned, "after all, this is first contact for us. What we would like to do, however, is form trade relations as we expand not only our empire, but our understanding of the known universe."
Isaiah sheepishly scratches his head as he said, "well... we don't really know what you have to offer, but I suppose anything that we can study which isn't from our system at the moment, and fuel sources. My system is down to about 20% of what it once had and supplies are dwindling. We could probably only survive with power for another 60 years but no more. We can offer research technology, military arms and medical supplies in return."
Isaiah tented his hands and said, "excellent, but I was also hoping for chemical samples from your planet?" He flashed a copy of the periodic table on the screen, "these elements are native to our system, and we were wondering if there are any on yours that aren't here?"
((assume that the other planets in Earth's system have some heavy metals discovered but aren't harvested on a large-scale))

"We can only understand your language by converting it into psionic signals, but to decipher your periodic table we would have to be in the same area as you to probe your thoughts and knowledge by extension. However, we will provide you samples of our planet and the metals we commonly use." They said.
Isaiah swore mentally, then kicked himself for doing that in front of a psychic species. He'd need to discipline himself if he ever met them in person.
"That'll be fine but perhaps we should set up a translation system for easier oral and written communication in the future?"

((The activity in this group will halt until further notice.))
((Why?))

*Spartan Corvettes warp into Sengan Space to recover the disabled transport*
Captain Kiran hailed the new ship and relayed the same message.
"Unknown spacecraft, identify youself and state your intentions or we will open fire."

Isaiah nodded at Ulyre and said "I'll get the linguistics department on it. Meanwhile, I need to get the cargo ships mobilised." His phone rang and he picked it up. Isaiah frowned as he heard what was on the other line.
"Understood, you have permission to engage if they display hostile intentions."
Setting down the phone, Isaiah looked at Ulyre once more and explained "it seems we have a security breach. I can't allow any commercial spacecraft to depart until the matter is dealt with. I will contact you again once it is resolved." With that, he shut off hailing frequency.

*All 3 corvettes try to lock onto the transport with their hyper beams*
(1-4 complete failure
5-6 one Corvette locks it in
7-8 two corvettes lock it in
9-10 all corvettes lock it in)
rolled 1d10 and got a natural 9. After the modifier of +2, got 11
((Waiting on your reaction Isaiah))
((am I supposed to understand spartish?))
((No, sounds like gibberish to you.))
The arrival of 3 new spacecraft unsettled Captain Kiran, but being a seasoned field commander, he knew that acting on insufficient information often resulted in fatal consequences. As of yet, he did not detect "hostile intent". If anything, the 3 arrivals seemed to be facilitating the removal of the first unidentified craft.
Opening the communications channel with his men, he gave his instructions. "Standby, do not open fire unless I give the command."

*A significant amount of dreadnought sized ships (Dreadnought 3 and her escorts) are docked one system over in GSE space. The 3 corvettes slowly pull the "disabled" transport out of Sengan space towards the system with the dreadnought sized ships,*
