"Oh...uh ok." She mumbles.

"Come on in...."

Wren pushes open the door to her room.

"H-how are you?" She asks, stuttering.

I nodded wanting to see her badly

Another nurse led Lilly to her mom. There were a few machines and IV's hooked up to her, but she was awake.

"A-are you okay?" Wren stutters

She nodded weakly.

I walk in shock to see her state "hi" I said

She smiles. "Hello you two..... How are you? Are you both okay?"

Wren nodded. Her face looks tired. The nurse realizes this and escorts her back to her room.

"Bye, hon! Sleep well!"

I nodded "they said I can't sleep for a bit" I said to them


((Gtg to bed night ))

Wren shuddered. 'Hon'. This woman wasn't her mother. She never will be.

"Oh... Huh...."

Wren quickly and easily fell asleep.

That night went by very painfully and very slowly for Kaylea, though.

Once she was asleep, her dreams became nightmare. Fire. Smoke. Her mother. Her father. Her bear.

Kaylea looked down, remembering all that she had lost in her life.

The nurse woke her up. Wren was confused. She realized her face was wet with tears. "What?"
"Honey, you've been screaming for a minute straight." She frowned, rubbing Wren's shoulders.
Wren felt...wet. She looked at her clothes, they were drenched in sweat. Her face was burning hot. She rushes to the garbage can, and hurls.
