Kaylea heard this and whispered, "Nothing..."

She walks off. Lilly needed her attention. Not Wren.

Kaylea sighed.

As Wren was heading back to her room, she felt dizzy. She grasped her head. The hall smelled of gas. Her head was pounding. She faints.

Kaylea hears her hit the ground and jumps up. She smells the gas, too, and yells, "Gas leak!" She grabs Lilly and runs over to Wren, grabbing her too. She limps out of the hospital.

Black. Everything was black. She heard Kaylea's screaming, and sirens wailing. She heard but couldn't see.
"FIRE!" She screamed, tears running down her face. She was still unconscious, but was rather in a dream--no nightmare--like state.

The hospital exploded behind them.

((i know, it was a very drastic turn that's all. I didn't mean to be rude or anything.))

Debris flew everywhere, the building was engulfed in flames. The sound of such, which woke Wren up. Wren looked around for her bear. Her eyes filled with tears. She didn't have it. It was still in the building.

... Or so she thought. Seeing that Wren was awake, Kaylea smiled weakly and pulled out something from behind her back... It was Wren's bear. She handed it to Wren with a smile.

Wren ripped the bear from Kaylea's arms, and held onto it tightly. She slid out of Kaylea's arms and hugged her.

Kaylea hugged her back, smiling. "No problem..."

Wren pulls away, and hugs her bear again.

Kaylea smiles. She then hunches over in pain, knowing that her wounds hadn't had enough time to heal.

Wren puts her attention towards Kaylea. She helps her onto an ambulance. The responder said she needed bedrest for everything to heal. They called over a cop who drove them home.

"Thank you.... You two are the best things that ever happened to me.... You know that?" Kaylea had said when she was loaded into the Ambulance.

Wren pretends like she didn't hear the question. The police officer helped them into the back of the car after getting the address. She hugged her bear as they headed off.

Kaylea passed out.

The EMS work on her instantly.
"It's from the gas. Hook up some oxygen." They place an oxygen mask over her face.

Kaylea wheezes painfully.

"It's ok, can you breathe?" The responder talks to Kaylea.
