Hey! So I'm looking to RP with a college/university aged character - or maybe even a very independent high-schooler, I suppose, lol! I'm open to RPing this scenereo to multiple people as well!

My Character
I'll be using my character Gyce, a ghost girl who inhabits a small apartment. She has no memories of how she died, and is unable to leave the property. Though she's never been seen, many tenants have claimed the apartment feels 'haunted', or were just left feeling so eerie and uncomfortable that they couldn't stay.

Because of this Gyce has spent long periods of time alone in the small apartment, and is quite lonely. Her gloomy disposition is probably a reason the place feels 'eerie'.

Premise/Where Your Character Comes In:
Enter your character! For whatever reason, they need a cheap place to live (I'm happy for you to fill in the blanks), and jump at the chance to move into what they think is an empty apartment. As it turns out, the Landlord has it going for such a cheap rate, because people keep leaving - though he wasn't particularly vocal about it while your character was signing the lease.

Your character is the first to see Gyce. I could see some comedic/creepy outcomes, such as them storming to the Landlord, demanding to know why he didn't mention a 'roommate' in the agreement. Only for the Landlord to accompany your character back, and find no-one there.

Requirements:
I'm open for a lot of possibility. Outside of Gyce being a ghost, hoping it will stick on the 'slice of life' side of things. No magical beings, demons/angels, ect. I'm also a pretty detailed replier, and while I don't expect everyone to match my length, I do ask for literate replies.

Gyce is also a lesbian, so if you are open to a romantic relationship developing, your character must be female.

Does John Liew suit your fancy?

He certainly seems interesting - more than happy to see how he goes with Gyce! They seem like they'd be total opposites, could be heaps of fun

Closed thread sounds better. Is the exact location of the apartment open for discussion?

Yeah, absolutely! I've only really thought internally in terms of the apartment. Like that it's on the cheaper side in terms of quality, no more than two bedrooms (if that). Otherwise, I'm totally open to suggestions.

Ok, cause John goes to school at the National University of Singapore. Would you mind playing Gyce such that she's the spirit of a former tenant in his dormitory?

Sure, that's fine by me - I can't guarantee total accuracy, as I've never been anywhere near Singapore myself! But could pose some interesting questions about a past she doesn't remember!

Hm, maybe an exchange student who died on her first night in her sleep? That way John can have some very interesting conversations with her. By interesting I mean humorous.

I've read a story more formally a graphic novel with the same premise. Which I was wondering if you heard of such a story before and is this roleplay based on it

No I haven't haha, it was just an idea I had sitting in my head for a while.
