I'm having issues with my laptop.
It says the battery is at 95% but that it is not charging. And yes it says the power cord is plugged in. The little light indicator to say that the power is good, keeps flashing orange, not staying a solid blue. Idk what is going to happen with my power supply. Especially since I do not know if this power report is accurate or not, since it's sitting at the 95%. I cannot run the laptop unless the power cord is plugged in. So I am hoping highly that everything is in working order. If not...well. Yeah...I'm going to be fuffed for a while. Cause all mom and I have left to use, is a tablet. Idk if I can afford another laptop or not.
So if I go poof for a while, that is probably it. I mean I can try to use the tablet, but I cannot make any promises. Aside from the fact mom uses it a lot, I do not like sharing nor do I like using a tablet in general.

It could very well be the power cord itself. Don't stress. As long as the computer works whole plugged in, it will be fine. If not, power cords are 80$, so you can save for that much easier than for an entire laptop.

From experience, if it works plugged in, but not unplugged, and the battery flashes when plugged in, it means you need a new battery in your laptop.
The reason it still works plugged in is because the battery is dead but there's still constant power from the cord keeping the laptop running without the battery.
The same thing would happen with a good battery. If you take a good battery out of a laptop, it will still work if it's plugged in.
If you message me, I could help you find the right battery for your laptop, or even send a link to the laptop I got which was $110 which could easily be saved up.
