The world was torn apart by war. Everyone on earth plagued with death. No one would live. But, the world's leaders came together, and sent their children up into space. They vowed to stop the war, but they knew it was too late. Everyone would soon die, including them. They had enough supplies on the ship to last for 100 years.

That was 100 years ago.

You, a descendant of a world leader, will be sent back down to earth. No one knows what may lie in this ghost town planet.

((if you want to start you can...or I could, I'm kinda bad at starting.))

Wren sat on the shuttle-craft nervously. She was accompanied by 6 other people. All of them different in a unique way. All with a certain skillset. No, they weren't trying to start a superhero team, they were trying to go to earth. There was no intelligence on whether Earth was safe still, it was only 100 years ago that their ancestors had sent up their great-grandparents, the Elite. The leaders of the world. The leaders who had lead their world to destruction. She twirled her flaming red hair around her finger, causing it to look like some fiery being was slithering up her forefinger.
Eli Silverblade (played by tomatosalad)

Eli, as he had done since his childhood, stared through the round porthole into the abyssal vastness of space to calm himself down. Earth. He was going to Earth, the great mystery of the station- the place that conjured images of vast oceans, wild and untamed jungles, and freezing tundras. It held a population of flora and fauna so vast that even when humans still lived on the planet, they could not say comfortably that they had ever categorized them all. It was a world that held the whispers of old, ancient beasts that swam in unreachable depths and giant hunters which silently stalked through the night. Eli had no idea what he would find, but he knew his job in the team: to protect his teammates- he'd been given special training and a few extra weapons- and to compare data from before the abandonment of Earth. Slowly, the blue planet came into view through the window, and Eli realized his knuckles were white.
Isaiah Lim (played by Orose_Khan)

Isaiah had been timelocked. After millenia of traversing the cosmos in search of adventure, he'd arrived at Earth in the distant future. He was the last remnant of Singapore, an island city-state that had once made itself the regional powerhouse of southeast asia. Now, his nation was scattered, homeless and on the verge of extinction.

He alone knew the culture of Singapore before the cataclysm that destroyed the Earth society. He alone had gone through the military training for male conscripts in Singapore. He alone was capable of reviving his nation.

Yet, he felt a nagging feeling of doubt cloud his thoughts. The powers that be had not only locked his ability to travel across space and time, they had locked his cells preventing him from forcing out a quick heal or bone constructs. Denied his self-given powers, he only had his skills and millenia of experience to rely on.

Would it be enough? He wondered as he fiddled with his rifle and absently stroked his body armour.
Lupus walked to the bridge of the ship, looking out the windows to the vast darkness beyond. The black only broken by pinpoints of light, distant stars. The sight was beautiful to him, yet it was all the white haired norse had ever known. It wouldn't be long before they would reach Earth, and their true mission would start.

Oh how he yearned to see the planet. To venture across the vast, untamed seas his ancestors once rules. To visit the ancient sights, and perhaps even find Bifröst, the ancient rainbow bridge to Valhalla. By the beard of Thor, Lupus swore he would reclaim his ancient homeland, Scandinavia. It's cold mountains and green meadows seems to call to him, even from this far away.

At these thoughts, he crossed his arms. His usually stern expression still facing the windows. Physically, he had all the traits one would thing of when thinking about Vikings. Broad, powerful shoulders, with arms to match. Long hair, and a thick beard. Some genetic mutation gave the young male white hair. He was also tall, and in all, very intimidating if need be.
Drom Rekkin (played by MochaJee)

Drom looked about at the others on the ship, watching if any were looking his way. Seeing that most were busy looking out to the fast approaching planet that was their homeworld, he slowly reached for a flask in his jacket pocket. It was of a crude design, and pungent liquid it contained was even worse. Knocking back a swig, Drom closed his eyelids and let the warmth of the tonic rush down his throat. Finally, he thought.

Before the seven of them were herded onto the shuttle bound for Earth, they had to go to through massive amounts of training and debriefs. The elders taught them how to survive with the basic resources they might find, and walked through scenarios they may face. Drom hated every single moment of it for primarily two reasons.

One, because he never wanted to come down the complete shit hole that was the home of his ancestors. Two, he was forced to be sober for the last week. The latter bothered him most. He touched the holster strapped onto this right thigh. It was unfamiliar, he preferred the long dagger that was given to him by his father.

“Who else thinks that red head (Wren) over there will be the first one to drop” he said aloud to the rest with a smirk. He enjoyed how much alcohol made him an asshole. More than that, he wanted to see how everyone would react.

Wren rolls her eyes. This guy has been, and always will be a douche. Wren ignored him. He was just grumpy cause he was forced on this mission. (and to be sober) At least she had brains. She had read every single book about Earth. It was a place full of culture and beauty. But, was also full of hatred and war. She yearned to see, to feel, earth beneath her toes. To feel the rushing current of a river. She waited, giddy with excitement that she tried to hide. The best thing to piss him off, would to not react at all. It was the best type of torture. She smirked.
Eli Silverblade (played by tomatosalad)

Eli blinked from his thoughts and glanced at Drom, his eyebrows going up a bit to communicate he wasn't impressed. "We're going to be pressurizing as we hit the atmosphere. The Ethanol will make you sick... I don't want to clean up any messes before we've even hit the ground." The statement was both a warning and friendly advice, in Eli's opinion. He didn't know Drom all that much- barely at all, actually. The only real thing he knew was his name, which was spat out at Eli as if he was annoyed to give him that much information- not that he really cared, considering Eli himself wasn't exactly a social butterfly... but at least HE had impulse control. He would have said more, but he took another glance out the window and saw the blue sphere of Earth getting closer. Any sarcastic comments he may have had dried up at the sight.
