To any surviving ships of the federation's navy: the home fleet has been wiped out, Baylon has fallen. High Admiral Tao has been slain, Admiral Sven is dead, Admiral Nigala is dead, Rear Admiral Tessa is dead. As the last surviving member of high command, Admiral Lee has taken command of the remnants and has ordered all ships of the Federation to keep fighting. No matter the cost, we will hold the line. Until then surviving non-combattant ships are ordered to evacuate to Peri station in Iras system.
As the last surviving warship in this sectors, we of the battleship Firebird will escort any survivors to Peri Station before rejoining the fight. We have all lost loved ones in this war, yet this is no time for despair. We shall prevail! Commander Haydn out.
War has come to humanity in its future, after spreading out across the stars it has encountered many other factions and species, none quite as destructive as the Mechanus and Organa two warring civilizations into which humanity blindly stumbled. The resulting battles were short and brutal, humanities fleets were caught off guard and annihilated. Tens of millions of humans dying in the blazes of nuclear fire.
You will take the role of either a member of the Firebird's crew or of a civilian having just fled the destruction of their home planet. Will you be able to survive the onslaught of humanities enemies? And more importantly will you keep the spirit of the Federation alive or allow it to burn out?
