hey, so i am new and have been here for a little bit now. I am still a little unsure about the layout and such of the website. I have been unable to find the adult only rp section and tbh just want someone to talk to ^^

Hi, welcome to RPR! The Adults Only RP section should be visible in the Forums page, unless you signed up as under 18 (or have the option to see it untoggled in your account options). This is to help protect underage and adult RPers from RPing things they shouldn't be RPing together, as well as the site from serious legal trouble. If you have signed up as the wrong age accidentally, I'd suggest PMing Kim for advice there.
The Forum Games section is also a good way to break the ice with folks (I see you've already found the Just Talkin thread), and we're having our annual birthday celebration soon, Epic Week, which is a site wide game with contests on the side!
If there's any other parts of the site you're having trouble figuring out, feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do.
