Hey there, I have a question regarding sexual themes in RP's.

Currently I am enjoying a RP with a minor (16 according to her profile). However her character is over 18 like mine.

Is a sexual scene prohibited or to an extent allowed?

It would be great if you can help me

Honestly, I would say, allowed to an extent or you guys should skip over the more sexual scenes in the roleplay.

If you are an adult irl and they are a minor irl, sexual content can land you in jail.

Both you and your partner need to be 18 or older to play any kind of sexual scenes, it could get you, this site, and your partner into huge amounts of legal trouble. However, fading to black is allowed.

I'm not sure about the law in Germany but in the United States, it's illegal. Laws vary by state but until your partner is 18 in real life, I'd recommend fading to black rather than play it out. Also double check the site rules too.

It would be against the site rules. You may only consensually engage in adult RP if the other player is 18+. If you knowingly engage in adult RPs with a minor, your account will face consequences (perma banned to the best of my knowledge) and there is a potential to be reported to the authorities if the minor's guardians find out.

Popping in to give an "official" answer, even though others have pretty thoroughly answered this already:

Our rules are that we require everyone to make sure that their use of the RPR is legal. In most locales, what you're proposing would be illegal, and you might be charged with a felony. Thus, it would also not be allowed under our TOS if either of you are in such a location. Please be EXTREMELY cautious with this type of content and age differences! It is not worth ruining your life over.

Moreover, legality aside, it's generally pretty unethical for adults (which you are!) to introduce sexual or other adult content into their interactions with minors (which your friend is!)

What if both players are over 18, however the characters are 17&18?

The same rule applies, both you and your character, this includes your partner, must be eighteen or older to engage in any kind of sexual activity.

Because in my homecountry, it's not illegal if a "minor" is in a relationship, even a sexual relationships, with someone older if they are 16+.

If you really think it's worth the risk. It's legal if you are both minors, but otherwise it is not only illegal, but against site rules.

I never said that I want to risk it in the first place, it was just the reason why I actually wrote this question ~

I've never heard of that and a quick google didn't give any hits that seemed relevant.

I think they just typo'd.

It's referring to non-sexual romantic actions. Things going as far as cuddling and kissing with tongue, for example, but remaining clothed, no discussion of sexualized body parts, etc.

Oh geez, that was my lack of English. Sorry for the typing mistake, my friends!
